Day 1: Delhi

Welcome to the start of your voyage of discovery through 'Incredible India'! You will be met at Delhi International Airport by our friendly local team and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure to explore or relax as you like.

Day 2: Delhi - Agra

Departing Delhi this morning we will drive to Agra. En-route, a stop will be made to visit Sikandra where the Tomb of Akbar the Great is located. Marvel at this architectural masterpiece which was built 1605-1613 and is set in 119 Acres of grounds.

Day 3: Agra

Up bright and early this morning to enjoy your sunrise guided tour of the magnificent Taj Mahal. After breakfast we visit the Agra fort, which boasts some of India’s finest Mughal buildings behind it’s fortified walls. During its history it has been a palace, a fort and a prison! The remainder of the day is at your leisure. (Taj Mahal closed on Friday)

Day 4: Agra

Enjoy a day to explore Agra in your own time.

Day 5: Agra - Jaipur

En route on our drive to Jaipur, we visit the ghostly former Mughal city of Fatehpur Sikri, abandoned due to lack of water. As we get closer to Jaipur we can stop for a tasty lunch at a charming haveli (mansion house) with small courtyard, lawned gardens and rustic appeal (Pay locally what you eat)

Day 6: Jaipur

This morning you will have to look out for the snake charmers that dot our route, as we travel to the 16th century Amber Fort. An exotic elephant ride transports us to the lofty fort, where we’ll enjoy a tour of this Rajput extravaganza. This afternoon enjoy journey of discovery through the historic pink city of Jaipur we start with a photo stop in front of Jal mahal (lake palace) thereafter visit the ancient astronomical observatory of Jantar mantar and then a guided tour of the city palace complex with it’s fascinating nooks and crannies.

Day 7: Jaipur

Enjoy a day to explore Jaipur in your own time.

Day 8: Jaipur - Udaipur

Today we have a long drive ahead of us to Udaipur. To help break the journey we make a stop in the lovely pilgrimage town of Pushkar, enjoy wandering around the Kundh and visiting some of the many temples.

Day 9: Udaipur

This morning enjoy a half tour of the imposing City Palace, this afternoon enjoy time to explore and perhaps shop for colourful Rajasthani souvenirs and Indian spices.

Day 10: Udaipur

Day 11: Udaipur - Delhi

We will be sure to transfer you to Udaipur airport in time for the 9W708 flight to Delhi. DEP:- 1625 ARR:- 1735. Arriving in Delhi our local team will assist you to your hotel.

Enjoy a morning sightseeing tour of Old Delhi, taking in the impressive Red Fort, Jama Masjid - India’s oldest and largest mosque. Afternoon at your leisure. (Red fort closed on Monday)

This morning we further enhance your exploration of this bustling city with a guided journey through the New Delhi area the highlights will include India gate a drive past parliamentary buildings and President's house, a guided visit to Humayun's tomb then concluding with sightseeing to UNESCO World Heritage Site Qutub minar. Afternoon at your leisure.

Days 14-16: Delhi

Day 17: Delhi - Lucknow

We will be sure to transfer you to Delhi airport in time for the S24234 flight to Lucknow. DEP:- 13:10 ARR:- 14:10 Arriving in Lucknow our local team will assist you to your hotel.

Day 18: Lucknow

Today with your guide you will spend visiting the many interesting places in this wonderful and historic city. Some of the highlights will be Bara Imambara, The British Residency of Lucknow, Chattar Manzil, Jama Masjid, Rumi Darwaza, Clock Tower, Moti Mahal, Lakshmana Tila and Hussainabad Imambara which ones really depending on level of interest and preference.

Day 19: Lucknow

Enjoy a day to explore Lucknow in your own time.

Day 20: Lucknow - Indore

We will be sure to transfer you to Lucknow airport in time for the 9W 2514 flight to Indore. DEP:- 19:05 ARR:- 21:10 Arriving in Indore our local team will assist you to your hotel.

Day 21: Indore - Mandu

Enjoy this morning a guided visit to some of the marvels of Indore - Particular highlights will be the Lal Baag Palace is one of the most spectacular buildings in Indore, Chattris which shows you the architectural style of the Chattris of Indore and nearby Rajwada and The Kanch Mandir which is a temple entirely made up of glass and mirrors. After we drive to Mandu and check into your hotel.

Day 22: Mandu - Indore

Enjoy a morning with your guide to explore some of the highlghts of this fascinating city including Mandu Fort, Hoshang Shah: a massive, foursquare monument with a huge dome, constructed in AD 1435, Jahaz Mahal being one of the most popular monuments in Mandu, Baz Bahadur Palace and more depending on time. After, you will be driven back to Indore.

Day 23: Indore - Baroda

Departing Indore we have a longish drive to Vadodara. Arriving here check into your hotel and relax for the evening. (Overnight at the Royal Orchid Central Hotel)

Enjoy a day with your guide discovering the highlights of the city, including the Baroda Museum & Gallery, The Laxmi Vilas Palace & Darbar Hall, Eme Temple and Maqbara. (Overnight at the Royal Orchid Central Hotel)

Day 25: Baroda - Ahmedabad

This morning we head to Ahmedabad but not without an en-route stop to visit ‘Kaba Gandhi No Delo’, the house where Gandhi grew up, which now holds a small exhibition of Gandhi artifacts and photographs.

Day 26: Ahmedabad

Our city tour leads us to the old city, to view the finest blend of Hindu and Islamic architectural style known as Indo-Saracenic. We also visit the site of Gandhi’s ashram and the place where he launched his celebrated march against the Salt Law. Continuing, a visit to Jami Masjid, built in the 15th century We conclude the day seeing the tombs of Ahmedabad’s Muslim rulers plus a select few Hindu and Jain temples.

Day 27: Ahmedabad

On our day trip out of the city our first destination will be the Adalaj step well. Which was built more than five hundred years ago and has an array of Fine sculptures and designs. After, we visit the Modhera Sun Temple, also built around a thousand years ago and was established as a symbol to restore valor and power against invasions from invaders at the time. Enjoy a walk around around the temple complex and grounds, we then return to your hotel by evening.

Day 28: Ahmedabad - Goa

The allure of India's palm fringed tropical coastline beckons today. We will be sure to transfer you to Ahmedabad airport in time for your flight SG to Goa. DEP:-14:35 ARR:-16:20 Arriving here our local team await to transfer you to your hotel.

Day 29: Goa

Enjoy a days excursion today to north and south Goa highlights will be in the north as follows, Old Goa Churches, Panjim city, Dona Paula, Miramar Beach and in south Goa, Shri Manguesh Temple, Shri Shantadurga temple, Big foot Village, Goa Braganza House.

Days 30-31: Goa

Sit back and relax here in this laid back coastal area of India for today and tomorrow, walk along palm fringed beaches looking for shells and watching the fishermen at work, or simply kick back and enjoy some fresh fruit cocktails served on a silver platter.

Day 32: Goa - Hyderabad

Returning back to civilization today with a flight to Hyderabad. Flight SG DEP:- 1415 ARR:-1545 Arriving here our local rep awaits to take you to your hotel.


Day 33: Hyderabad

Today we embark on a full day city tour of Hyderabad including the Golconda Fort, Qutab Shahi Tombs, Salar Jung, Charminar, Mecca Mosque, Ladd Baza.

Today enjoy a relaxing boat trip on Lake Hussain Sagar, here you can take in the site of the famous Buddha statue. Remainder of the day at leisure for you to explore.

Day 36: Hyderabad - Chennai

This morning enjoy a sightseeing tour, including a walking tour of Fort Cochin. With the afternoon at leisure. This evening watch famous Keralan dancers perform. We will be sure to arrive early so you don’t miss the artists applying their awesome make-up.

Day 41: Kochi - Munnar

A drive east to to Munnar - a quaint hill station nestled on the verdant slopes of tea plantations, that exudes a rare old world charm and reminds one of the days of the Raj in its elegant splendour. At a height of 1525 metres, Munnar offers breathtaking views of the surrounding hills.

Day 42: Munnar

Enjoy the day at leisure to explore at your leisure. We would highly recommend you go out for a wander in the surrounding tea/spice country.

Day 43: Munnar - Periyar NP

A short drive south to Periyar, South India’s most popular wildlife sanctuary and home to bison, antelopes, sambar, wild boar, birds and even the odd tiger! Kumli, close to the sanctuary and where you’ll stay, is a pretty little town dotted with small spice and handicraft shops.

Day 44: Periyar NP

There is plenty to do in and around Periyar, so we leave the choice to you. You can opt to book and pay locally for a boat ride on Lake Periyar to spot herds of wild elephants, visit the lush nearby tea estates or enjoy guided nature walks.


Day 45: Periyar NP - Kumarakom

A drive to Kumarakom. Perched sleepily on the eastern banks of the mighty Lake Vembanad in the heartland of Kerala’s famed backwaters, Kumarakom has changed little since the Middle Ages but for it’s string of exotic resorts, making it the perfect point to explore the backwaters.

Day 46: Kumarakom

Although right in the thick of a tangle of lush tropical waterways, Kumarakom is technically an island on Lake Vembanad. This is an ideal place to chill-out today. There is also a wonderful bird sanctuary, winter home to many migratory birds which is worth a visit if you fancied it.

Day 47: Kumarakom - Alleppey

This morning board a simply furnished private rice-boat for a journey through the backwaters to Alleppey. Crewed by a poler to push the rice boat through the water, a distance of some 20 kms will be covered, during which time the boat will glide past colourful local villages. As for dining, the on-board cook will prepare meals using fresh local produce.

Day 48: Alleppey - Kovalam

Disembarking at Alleppey, you’ll be driven back to the beach this time in Kovalam.

Enjoy some downtime for today and tomorrow on Kerala's gorgeous coastline.

Day 51: Kovalam - Mumbai

We will be sure to transfer you to Trivandrum airport in time for the 9W 337 flight to Mumbai. DEP:- 13:30 ARR:- 15:35 - Arriving in Mumbai our local team will assist you to your hotel.

Day 52: Mumbai

Today we embark on a glittering morning city tour to visit the Prince of Wales museum, Marine Drive and the Mani Bhawan Jain temple. Afternoon is at your leisure to explore.

Day 53: Mumbai

After breakfast enjoy a morning visit to the cave temples of Elephanta Island sculpted during the 5th to the 8th centuries. Afternoon is at your leisure to explore.

For the next three days head out and explore all that Mumbai has to offer in your own time.

Today we will transfer you and assist with embarkation to the Mumbai Rajdhani express train to Delhi DEP:-16:40 ARR:-08:30+1 - Sleeper train travel is a must-do experience for any visitor young or old! The friendly locals will be vying for a chat with you, so sit back, relax and enjoy the journey.

Day 58: Delhi

Your train arrives into Delhi in the morning to the start of a new day and the gathering hustle and bustle. Our rep will be waiting for you, but make sure you take a moment to try some chai, hot tea from one of the vendors, before transferring to your hotel.

Day 59: Delhi

Sadly your journey through Incredible India comes to an end today with a transfer to the airport in time for your flight home.
