Day 1: Delhi
Namaste! Welcome to India and New Delhi the capital city of India. We will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel with the rest of the day yours to relax after your long flight.
Day 2: Delhi
Today we explore both Old and New Delhi - the order of New Delhi is a huge contrast to the unorganised chaos of the Old City. But both are just as appealing. Highlights we be the impressive Red Fort, Jama Masjid - India’s oldest and largest mosque, Raj Ghat - the site of Gandhi’s cremation and more.
Day 3: Delhi
Enjoy a free day in Delhi to enjoy time with friends with your car and driver at disposal.
Day 4: Delhi - Agra
Departing Delhi, we journey 5hrs to Agra, once India’s Mughal capital. Arriving, we visit Agra fort, which boasts some of India’s finest Mughal buildings behind it’s fortified walls. During its history it has been a palace, a fort and a prison!
Day 5: Agra - Jaipur
Today we rise early to see the Taj Mahal in its ethereal morning light. Later, we depart Agra destined for Jaipur 'the pink city' En-route we visit the ghostly fortified city of Fatehpur Sikri, abandoned only 8 years after its construction due to droughts in the area. Arriving in the late afternoon enjoy an evening at leisure.
Day 6: Jaipur
Look out for the snake charmers that dot our route, as we travel to the 16th century Amber Fort. An exotic elephant ride transports us to the lofty fort, where you will enjoy a tour of this Rajput extravaganza. Later in the afternoon you tour the City Palace, which boasts an interesting museum of regal attire and Jantar Mantar, an ancient astronomical observatory.
Day 7: Jaipur
Departing Jaipur we set out for Shapura Bagh. Here, we enjoy some free time to relax at your beautiful upmarket property ideally located between Jaipur & Udaipur.
Day 8: Jaipur - Udaipur
We continue our journey to Udaipur today. Upon arrival we assist with hotel check-in. The remainder of the day enjoy time at leisure with your driver and vehicle at your disposal.
Day 9: Udaipur
This morning a sightseeing tour of the city. Highlights to include the City Palace, Jagdish Temple and Sahelion-ki-bari. In the evening, you will have an exclusive boat ride on Lake Pichola.
Day 10: Udaipur - Delhi
The majestic Himalayas beckon this morning! First we have to transit in Delhi. Your flight leaves at 08:20 am and arrives in Delhi at 10:15 after your arrival transfer and assisted check-in, the day is at your leisure.
Day 11: Delhi - Rishikesh
At the break of dawn we transfer to the train station for the 06:50 Shatabdi Express train to Haridwar. Arriving there we transfer to Ananda for a relaxing day at the Spa.
Day 12: Rishikesh
This morning we drive through the forested hills to Chopta. The drive is spectacular and along the Ganga, Alaknanda & Mandakini Rivers. Arrive and camp in beautiful meadows with stunning view of high Himalayan Peaks. Meals & Overnight in Camp/ Guest House
Day 13: Rishikesh
Morning after breakfast we drive to Sari Village to commence our trek to the beautiful lake Deoriatal. The trek is steep through the forest and provides good view of the surrounding villages. Enjoy the wide angled view of Himalayan Peaks from the lake and spend some time swimming. Explore and trace our steps back to Sari to board the waiting vehicle to drive back to our campsite at Chopta.
Day 14: Rishikesh
Early morning we start our trek to scale the non technical peak Chandrashilla. We reach there on time to enjoy the sunrise on High Himalayan Peaks. Enjoy panoramas of Garhwal Himalayas from here including Nanda Devi-7817mtrs (highest peak of Indian Himalayas), Kedarnath (6940mtrs),Chaukhamba(7140mtrs),Trishul (7120mtrs), Neelkanth(6596mtrs) Explore and trace our steps back to Chopta.
Day 15: Rishikesh
Today we drive back to the Ananda. Im sure the muscles will be aching from the recent trekking rest assured Ananda is the perfect place to revitalise before continuing on your India adventure.
Day 16: Rishikesh - Mumbai
Your Himalayan break draws to a close today. We transfer to Haridwar for the 06:10 am Jan Shatabdi Express. Arriving in Delhi at 11:30 am we transfer straight to the airport for your 14:00 pm flight to Mumbai where upon arrival at 16:00 pm we transfer you to your hotel.
Days 17-19: Mumbai
For the next three days enjoy free time in Mumbai to meet with friends at your leisure your car and driver is at your disposal for transport around the city.
Day 20: Mumbai - Hyderabad
After breakfast we transfer you to the airport for the 09:30 am flight to Hyderabad. Arriving at 10:45 am we transfer you to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure with your driver and vehicle at disposal.
Day 21: Hyderabad
Enjoy your day at leisure to visit with friends with your driver and vehicle at disposal.
Day 22: Hyderabad - Kochi
The lure of the tropical Deep South can wait no longer. Today at 12:00 we fly to Kochi arriving there at 13:25 we transfer to your hotel. This evening enjoy a tranquil boat ride in Kochi harbour.
Day 23: Kochi
The touring today includes a visit to the Dutch Palace built by the Portuguese for a local King in 1555 A.D. The famous Jew Street, a cul-de-sac leading to the beautiful Parsi Synagogue built in 1568. A walking tour of Fort Cochin will take you through the streets still graced with traces of Portuguese, Dutch & British colonial architecture. This evening enjoy a traditional Kathakali dance performance.
Day 24: Kochi - Kumarakom
Today a short drive to Kumarakom, perched sleepily on the eastern banks of the mighty Lake Vembanad in the heartland of Kerala’s famed backwaters, Kumarakom has changed little since the middle Ages but for its string of exotic resorts, making it the perfect point to explore the backwaters. Although right in the thick of a tangle of lush tropical waterways, Kumarakom is technically an island on Lake Vembanad.
Day 26: Kumarakom - Alleppey
This morning board your private Luxury Elitaire rice boat for a journey through the backwaters in and around Alleppey. Crewed by a poler to push the rice boat through the water, a distance of some 20 kms will be covered, during which time the boat will glide past colourful local villages. As for dining the on board cook will prepare meals using fresh local produce.
Day 27: Alleppey - Kovalam
After breakfast, you'll disembark from the houseboat and be transferred to Kovalam and your luxury hotel.
Days 28-30: Kovalam
For your remaining days stroll for miles along white palm fringed sandy beaches, try sampling the local seafood and sipping cocktails on your sunlounger the perfect remedy to unwind.
Day 31: Kovalam
Farewell incredible India! Today we transfer you to Trivandrum airport for your international flights home.
