The grand entrance into Delhi's famous Red Fort

Day 1: Delhi

Namaste! Welcome to India and New Delhi the capital city of India. We will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel with the rest of the day yours to relax after your long flight.

Day 2: Delhi - Udaipur

You will be met at the hotel by our representative and driver to transfer you to the airport by a private vehicle for your departure to Udaipur by flight SG 2437. Expected time of departure 10:40 hours. Arrive Udaipur by SG 2437 from Delhi at 12:10 hours. You will be met by our representative and driver on arrival and transferred by a private vehicle to your hotel. The city of Udaipur is perhaps one of India's most seductive. Known as the City of Lakes or the Venice of the East, Udaipur is the historic capital of the Rajput kingdom of Mewar and is known for its splendid Rajput-era palaces. Its centrepiece is the gorgeous Lake Pichola and the incredible Lake Palace that appears to float on the surface of the water.

Day 3: Udaipur

A sightseeing tour of the city this morning, including the City Palace, Jagdish Temple and Sahelion-ki-bari. In the evening, you will have an exclusive boat ride on Lake Pichola.

Day 4: Udaipur - Shahpura

Today you will travel by road from Udaipur to Shahpura. Shahpura is a town in the district of Jaipur in Rajasthan. It is a walled town, founded in 1629 and was named after the famous Mughal emperor Shah Jahan. Shah Jahan reigned from 1628 to 1658 and was probably most famous for his designing of the world famous Taj Mahal in Agra. Industry in Shahpura includes cotton ginning, handicraft cloth weaving and dyeing as well as lacquered wood manufacture. The area itself is beautiful countryside as well as vast forest and cool and refreshing lakes. It is very much an unspoilt and untouched area, a far cry from large parts of modern India. Visitors to Shahpura can enjoy a variety of excursions including bird watching, trips to the local rural villages and farms and a trek to the local temple.

Day 5: Shahpura - Jaipur

Today you will be transferred by road to Jaipur. flamboyant showcase of Rajasthani architecture and a firm favourite on tourist itineraries as the third corner of India’s ‘Golden Triangle’, the vibrant capital of Rajasthan is popularly known as the ‘Pink City’. Jaipur was chosen by Maharaja Jai Singh II (1693-1743) for his capital. A skilled astronomer and visionary, he worked with superb Bengali architect Vidyadhar Bhattacharya to complete design and construction of Jaipur in less than eight years. The 18th century Jantar Mantar is the largest and best preserved of five observatories built by the astronomer prince. The observatory complex is fascinating.

Day 6: Jaipur

This morning we visit the delicate pink, magnificent fort-palace of Amber - a wonderful example of Rajput architecture just north of Jaipur. Subject to Government regulations, we will arrive in style riding on an elephant! In the afternoon you will enjoy a tour of the city. Highlights include the City Palace, which boasts an interesting museum of regal attire.

Day 7: Jaipur - Ranthambhore NP

Travel by road from Jaipur to Sawai Madhopur. (Private vehicle with driver only).This afternoon you have the opportunity of going on a game drive in the Ranthambore National Park by shared jeep. Ranthambore was established as the Sawai Madhopur Game Sanctuary in 1955 by the Indian Government, and was declared one of the Project Tiger reserves in 1973. Ranthambore became a national park in 1980. Located in the Sawai Madhopur district of the state of Rajasthan, Ranthambhore is one of India’s most scenic parks and a prime example of Project Tiger’s conservation efforts. The park lies at the edge of a plateau, and is bounded to the north by the Banas River and to the south by the Chambal River.

Day 8: Ranthambhore NP

This mornin and afternoon you will go on game drive in the Ranthambore National park by shared jeep.

Day 9: Ranthambhore NP - Agra

Today morning you shall go on a game drive in Ranthambore National Park. Later our representative and driver transfer you to the Railway Station in time for your departure from Ranthambore by Train No 12903 [1st AC ] to Bharatpur. Train departs at 12:30 hours. Arrive Bharatpur by 12903 [1st AC] at 15:03 hours. You are required to disembark from the train with your luggage and wait at the platform. You will be met by our representative at the platform and then transferred by a private vehicle to Agra. En route you shall have guided visit to the deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri, located in what is now Uttar Pradesh was built by the Mughal Emperor Akbar and served as the political capital of India's Mughal Empire under his reign, from 1571 until 1585, when it was abandoned, ostensibly due to lack of water.

Day 10: Agra

After breakfast we head out to view the magnificent Taj Mahal. Enjoy your own time to explore and a guided tour of this once powerful Moghul emperor’s monument to love. Later we visit Agra fort built under the Mughal Emperor Akbar in 1565 that contains numerous palaces and a white marble mosque and the Baby Taj. Remainder of the day is at your leisure.

Day 11: Agra - Varanasi

Today you will be transferred by road to Delhi airport. Where you shall board flight SG114 to Varanasi. Expected time of departure 13:25 hours. Arrive Varanasi by SG 114 from Delhi at 14:35 hours. You will be met by our representative and driver on arrival and transferred by a private vehicle to your hotel. Visit The Ganges in the evening with guide to witness the evening Arti ceremony.

Day 12: Varanasi

This morning, we enjoy a sunrise boat ride on the holy Ganges where we’ll view the ancient religious tradition of ritual cleansing that takes place on the many riverbank ghats (riverside steps). Later, we embark on a tour of the city. Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh is guaranteed to make an impression. Considered the holiest of places in India, the city of Shiva has been a centre of learning and civilization for over 2000 years. Thousands of Hindu pilgrims come to bathe and rinse away their sins in the waters of the River Ganges and tour its revered temples. Varanasi is also believed to be an auspicious place to die, ensuring release from the cycle of rebirths and an instantly granted passport to heaven.

Day 13: Varanasi

You will be met at the hotel by our representative and driver to transfer you to the airport by a private vehicle for your departure to Delhi by flight 9W 2424. Expected time of departure 15:10 hours. Arrive Delhi at 1635 hours and independently connect you International flight to Onwards destination.
