The grand entrance into Delhi's famous Red Fort

Day 1: Delhi

Namaste! Welcome to India and the start of your exclusive journey. Our friendly local team will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel with the rest of the day yours to relax after your long flight.

Day 2: Delhi

Today we explore both Old and New Delhi - the order of New Delhi is a huge contrast to the unorganised chaos of the Old City but both are just as appealing. Taking in the impressive Red Fort, Jama Masjid - India’s oldest and largest mosque, Raj Ghat - the site of Gandhi’s cremation and a cycle rickshaw down the bustling Chandi Chowk bazaar where you can stop at a great local eatery for some lunch Delhi style.

Day 3: Delhi - Agra

Departing Delhi, we journey 5hrs to Agra, once India’s Mughal capital. Arriving, we visit Agra fort, during its history it has been a palace, a fort and a prison! and today boasts some of India’s finest Mughal buildings behind it’s fortified walls and Itmad ud Daulah a forerunner to the Taj. We conclude our day with a guided tour of the magnificent Taj Mahal which allows plenty of free time here, to take in a romantic sunset.

Day 4: Agra - Ranthambhore NP

This morning we will take a drive out to the ghostly fortified city of Fatehpur Sikri, abandoned only 8 years after its construction due to droughts in the area. We continue to Bharatpur station where we assist your embarking the express train to Ranthambore National Park. Arriving here, around 6pm you will see our local driver waiting to take you to your wilderness hotel.

Day 5: Ranthambhore NP

Today enjoy morning and afternoon shared game drives in the national park. Ranthambore National Park is one of the prime examples of Project Tiger’s conservation efforts in Rajasthan. The forests around the Ranthambore Fort were once the private hunting grounds of the Maharajas of Jaipur.


Day 6: Ranthambhore NP - Jaipur

This morning we will depart from this wonderful park hopefully having seen some of the elusive tigers. We make our way through interesting rural scenery to the Pink City of Jaipur.

Day 7: Jaipur

This morning we visit the delicate pink, magnificent fort-palace of Amber - a wonderful example of Rajput architecture just north of Jaipur. Subject to Government regulations, we will arrive in style riding on an elephant! In the afternoon you will enjoy a tour of the city. Highlights include the Hawa Mahal (Palace of the Winds), the City Palace, which boasts an interesting museum of regal attire and Jantar Mantar, an ancient astronomical observatory.

Day 8: Jaipur - Deogarh

Once again we hit the road today and driver to Deogarh, which is a small rural town affording you a better insight into Indian life. Spend the afternoon here exploring the village or simply enjoying your wonderful heritage hotel.

Day 9: Deogarh - Udaipur

We continue our journey by road today, to the famous romantic city of Udaipur. Udaipur, an oasis of cool, with its massive lake and Venetian-like appearance, Udaipur is one of the most romantic towns in Rajasthan. A favourite amongst travellers, Udaipur is crammed full of palaces and temples.

Day 10: Udaipur

This morning will consist of an orientation and sightseeing tour of Udaipur - including the City Palace and museum - before having a few hours in the afternoon to explore for yourselves. This evening you will take ride in a shared boat on Lake Pichola.

Day 11: Udaipur

Today is at your leisure to explore as you wish, we would highly recommend catching a taxi to the Monsoon Palace where you can take in fantastic views of the city and lake down below.

Day 12: Udaipur

This morning on the go tours arrangements conclude with a transfer to Udaipur Airport in time for your flight to Mumbai.
