Day 1: Mumbai
Welcome to India and the start of your holiday! You will be met at Mumbai International Airport by our friendly local team and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at your leisure.
Day 2: Mumbai
Today we embark on a half day glittering city tour, with a visit the Prince of Wales museum, Marine Drive and the Mani Bhawan Jain temple. Why not further enhance this experience by adding one of our enhance options to visit Elephanta Caves, please refer to enhance your holiday page for prices.
Day 3: Mumbai - Udaipur
Morning we are back to the airport for your flight to Udaipur. Arriving here our friendly local team awaits your arrival to transfer to your hotel. The remainder fo the day is at your leisure. Day 4: Udaipur
This morning enjoy a half tour of the imposing City Palace and this afternoon enjoy time to explore and perhaps shop for colourful Rajasthani souvenirs and Indian spices.
Day 5: Udaipur - Jodhpur
Leaving Udaipur, we drive to Ranakpur, a small town tucked away in a remote valley and famed for its beautiful 14th century Jain temples. We’ll enjoy some exploration here on your own with no guide before continuing the drive to your hotel in Jodhpur.
Day 6: Jodhpur - Jaisalmer
Morning we are up early to enjoy some touring in this colourful Rajasthani city, taking in the mighty fort and bazaars of the old city which are gathered around the city’s tall clock tower. After an interesting drive through increasingly varied scenery takes us to Jaisalmer arriving in the evening check in and relax at your hotel.
Day 7: Jaisalmer
Today enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of the city including the sandstone fort which is an imposing sight, towering magnificently over the city. Later this afternoon we will take you on an exciting camel safari on the Sam sand dunes to witness the magical sunset.
Day 8: Jaisalmer - Delhi
Enjoy the day to explore this fascinating and ancient fortified city. This evening we will transfer you to the station for the sleeper train to Delhi. (Mandor Express Train DEP 20:00 - ARR 06:25)
Day 9: Delhi
Your train arrives into Delhi in the morning to the start of a new day and the gathering hustle and bustle. Our rep will be waiting for us , but make sure you take a moment to try some chai, hot tea from one of the vendors, before transferring to your hotel. Here you will enjoy some breakfast while you wait for check in. The rest of the day at leisure.
Day 10: Delhi
This morning after breakfast, we’ll then enjoy a morning sightseeing tour of Old Delhi, taking in the impressive Red Fort, Jama Masjid - India’s oldest and largest mosque. This afternoon why not further enhance your exploration of this busting city with an afternoon guided journey through the New Delhi area the highlights will include India gate a drive past parliamentary buildings and President's house, a guided visit to Humayun's tomb then concluding with sightseeing to UNESCO World Heritage Site Qutub minar. Day 11: Delhi - Agra
Departing Delhi, we journey 5 hrs to Agra, once India’s Mughal capital. Arriving, we visit Agra fort, which boasts some of India’s finest Mughal buildings behind it’s fortified walls. During its history it has been a palace, a fort and a prison! This evening enjoy a romantic sunset with guided tour at the legendary Taj Mahal.
Day 12: Agra - Delhi
Morning or afternoon as you like your car will return you to Delhi. Remainder of the day at leisure. (Tonight needs to be in Delhi as the latest flight tomorrow is 11:35 am to Bagdogra to enable you to get to Darjeeling)
Day 13: Delhi - Darjeeling
Morning you take to the skies and fly to Bagdogra in the north west of India's himalayan region. Arriving here our local rep awaits to drive you onward to Darjeeling. After check in simply relax or head to explore at your leisure.
Day 16: Darjeeling - Kolkata
Returning to Bagdogra airport today you fly onto Kolkatta - Arriving there no arrangements for transfer or accommodation with on the go tours.
Day 19: Kolkata
Make sure you are at the airport in time to catch the first flight to Mumbai at 06:25 am with Jet Konnect - Arrival at 09:00 am collect your bags and proceed to check in for your international flight departing at 13:45 say farewell to incredible India.
