Day 1: Delhi

Welcome to the start of your voyage of discovery through 'Incredible India'! You will be met at Delhi International Airport by our friendly local team and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure to explore or relax as you like.

Day 2: Delhi

This morning, our Welcome Meeting takes place. We’ll then enjoy a morning sightseeing tour of Old Delhi, taking in the impressive Red Fort, Jama Masjid - India’s oldest and largest mosque. This afternoon we further enhance your exploration of this bustling city with an afternoon guided journey through the New Delhi area the highlights will include India gate a drive past parliamentary buildings and President's house, a guided visit to Humayun's tomb then concluding with sightseeing to UNESCO World Heritage Site Qutub minar.

Day 3: Delhi

Enjoy a relaxing morning. This afternoon we are going to travel local style on a bicycle ride through some fascinating parts of the city and iconic monuments.

Day 4: Delhi - Mandawa

Today, we drive to the semi-desert Shekhawati region. The small towns in this region became important trading posts, a lasting legacy of which are the beautiful painted havelis (mansions) constructed by wealthy merchants in the 18th and 19th centuries. Enjoy an afternoon village walk to see some of the locals and mansions this place is known for.

Day 5: Mandawa - Bikaner

Travelling west, our next stop is the 14th century desert town of Bikaner. Once an important staging post on the great caravan routes, much of the atmospheric old town which we will explore is still encircled by massive fortified walls. Arriving here, enjoy time to relax for the afternoon.

Day 6: Bikaner

Today we explore the atmospheric old town which is still encircled by massive fortified walls. Within these walls are havelis, artisan shops and people going about their daily lives. We also visit the spectacular Junagarh Fort & museum, built between 1587 and 1593 during the rule of Rai Singh. This evening we have a visit to the Karni Mata Temple at Deshnoke also known as the Rat Temple.

Day 7: Bikaner - Jaisalmer

Driving through the Rajasthani Thar desert we arrive at the medieval caravan outpost of Jaisalmer, one of the jewels in India’s crown. Exquisite wood and sandstone buildings dot the town and within Jaisalmer Fort are homes, hotels and shops hidden in ancient lane ways.

Day 8: Jaisalmer

Today with your guide explore this stunning Rajasthani fortress town which includes the Jaisalmer Fort, Jain temples and the Havelis.

Day 9: Jaisalmer

Enjoy a free day to explore the nooks and crannies of this incredible city.

Day 10: Jaisalmer - Manvar

Today we continue our in depth exploration of India's desert region with a drive to Manvar. Arriving at the desert camp enjoy time to take in the scenery and a camel safari to see the spectacular sunset over the dunes.

Day 11: Manvar - Jodhpur

An interesting drive through increasingly varied scenery takes us to Jodhpur, a town at the edge of the mighty Thar Desert.

Day 12: Jodhpur

Dominated by Meherangarh Fort which sits majestically atop a hill, Jodhpur is known as the Blue City. This is because of the coloured houses in the old town, painted indigo. We’ll enjoy some touring in this colourful Rajasthani city, taking in the mighty fort and bazaars of the old city which are gathered around the city’s tall clock tower.

Day 13: Jodhpur - Udaipur

Today we will make our way to Udaipur. Along the way, making two interesting stops to visit Ranakpur and its famous Jain temples then Kumbalgarh Fort, one of the most important forts in Rajasthan.

Day 14: Udaipur

Today your guide will show you many of the historic places of interest including a boat ride on Lake Pichola, touring of the imposing City Palace, Jagdish Temple, Shaliyo ki bari Garden and Bharti lok kala Mandal.

Day 15: Udaipur

Enjoy a free day to explore the city at your leisure.

Day 16: Udaipur - Bundi

Today we drive to Bundi passing fantastic scenery of the Aravalli Hill range. En route we are going to make a stop at Chittorgarh Fort considered one of the best preserved in the country.

Day 17: Bundi

This morning you will get to explore the Bundi Fort which was built in 1345 and was the center of a kingdom in Rajasthan. Later, we visit the historic town of Kota including the Jagmandir Palace, and city fort.

Day 18: Bundi - Ranthambhore NP

After breakfast we have a 3-4 hour drive to Ranthambhore National Park. We check-in, freshen up and then venture out for an evening game drive.

Day 19: Ranthambhore NP - Jaipur

After our final morning game drive we will depart from this wonderful park hopefully having seen some of the elusive tigers. We drive onward to the pink city of Jaipur.

Day 20: Jaipur

This morning you will have to look out for the snake charmers that dot our route, as we travel to the 16th century Amber Fort. An exotic elephant ride transports us to the lofty fort, where we’ll enjoy a tour of this Rajput extravaganza. This afternoon we have a journey of discovery through the historic pink city of Jaipur we start with a photo stop in front of Jal mahal (lake palace) thereafter visit the ancient astronomical observatory of Jantar mantar and thereafter a guided tour of the city palace complex and it’s fascinating nooks and crannies.

Day 21: Jaipur

Enjoy a free day to explore the city at your leisure. We wish you a merry Christmas Eve.

Day 22: Jaipur - Agra

Merry Christmas! Departing Jaipur we stop in Bharatpur to visit Keoladeo Ghana National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where we’ll enjoy a leisurely bicycle rickshaw ride through the park. Continue on to Fatehpur Sikri, former imperial capital of the great Mughal emperor Akbar. Built between 1569 and 1585, it has been deserted for more than four centuries, by all accounts abandoned in 1600 due to a meagre supply of water. Arriving into Agra enjoy some downtime at your hotel, in preparation for the early start tomorrow.

Day 23: Agra

Early rise! This morning we have a guided tour and free time to take in the magical sunrise at the Taj Mahal. After breakfast at the hotel we visit Agra fort, which boasts some of India’s finest Mughal buildings behind it’s fortified walls. During its history it has been a palace, a fort and a prison! This evening return to the Taj Mahal to see the fantastic sunset.

Day 24: Agra - Delhi

Today we drive back to Delhi.

Sadly your journey has reached its conclusion, we will transfer you to Delhi airport in time for your flight home.
