The grand entrance into Delhi's famous Red Fort

Day 1: Delhi

Welcome to the start of your voyage of discovery through 'Incredible India'! You will be met at Delhi International Airport by our friendly local team and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure to explore or relax as you like.

Day 2: Delhi - Jaipur

This morning we will drive to Deeg interestingly during the Raj the British people couldn't enter the city, the last wish of British people was to see the Deeg palace when they were leaving India but the royal jat raja did not allow them. Today you get to see the famous Water Palace. We then continue our drive to Jaipur city.

Day 3: Jaipur

This morning you will have to look out for the snake charmers that dot our route, as we travel to the 16th century Amber Fort. An exotic elephant ride transports us to the lofty fort, where we’ll enjoy a tour of this Rajput extravaganza. This afternoon we explore the historic pink city of Jaipur we start with a photo stop in front of Jal mahal (lake palace) thereafter visit the ancient astronomical observatory of Jantar mantar and a guided tour of the city palace complex with it’s fascinating nooks and crannies. We conclude the day visiting the Jami Masjid and then time for shopping at the Johari and Tripolia Bazaars.

Day 4: Jaipur - Bharatpur

Departing Jaipur we stop in the village of Abhaneri to see Chand Baori, which is the largest and deepest step well in the world. After hotel check in at Bharatpur and time to freshen up we visit Keoladeo Ghana National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where we’ll enjoy a leisurely bicycle rickshaw ride through the park.

Day 5: Bharatpur

This morning you return to the park for some bird spotting in the early hours when they are active in the cooler air. This afternoon we visit Fatehpur Sikri, former imperial capital of the great Mughal emperor Akbar. Built between 1569 and 1585, it has been deserted for more than four centuries, by all accounts abandoned in 1600 due to a meagre supply of water.

Day 6: Bharatpur - Delhi

This morning we drive (1 hour) to Agra. The once the Mughal capital of India, Agra is home to the legendary Taj Mahal. A visit is made to the Agra fort and of course the Taj, where you'll see first-hand, the efforts Emperor Shah Jahan went to in constructing a solid white marble mausoleum for his beloved wife, Mumtaz. From Agra, you’ll later board the express train to Delhi (3 hours journey in AC Chair Car DEP 20:35 - ARR:22:45)

Day 7: Delhi

Today is yours to relax and enjoy in Delhi.

Day 8: Delhi - Bandhavgarh NP

This morning early you fly to Jabalpur (Only one flight DEP 07:35 - ARR 09:45) Arriving into Jabalpur you will be driven the 200KM to Bandhavgarh National Park, where you’ll enjoy the facilities at the lodge. The Government does not allow game drives on Wednesday so today you can relax at the hotel, but also excursions are offered to visit rural villages to give you an insight into that side of India.

Days 9-10: Bandhavgarh NP

Bandhavgarh is set amidst the Vindhyan ranges. Claiming to have the highest density population of Bengal tiger in India, coupled with a population of leopard, nilgai, jackal, wild boar, sloth bear, gaur, sambar deer and colourful bird life, game drives are often peppered with sightings. For today and tomorrow enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in shared jeeps to see the wildlife.

Day 11: Bandhavgarh NP - Kanha NP

After a morning game drive, we journey to Kanha via a fossil park. Kanha is one of India’s largest parks, covering 1945 sq. km of forest and lightly wooded grassland. This is the land that Kipling wrote so vividly about in his literary classic ‘Jungle Book’.

Day 12: Kanha NP

Kanha is one of India’s largest parks, covering 1945 sq. km of forest and lightly wooded grassland. This is the land that Kipling wrote so vividly about in his literary classic ‘Jungle Book’. Kanha National Park has a tremendous variety of wildlife - including the Bengal tiger, leopard, sambar, chital, blackbuck, gaur, swamp deer and jackal. Enjoy the first of your morning and afternoon game drives in the park.


Day 13: Kanha NP

For today enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in shared jeeps to see the wildlife.

Day 14: Kanha NP - Delhi

This morning enjoy the last of your game drives. We then drive to Jabalpur for the 18:30 JLR – 20:35 DEL flight back to Delhi. Arriving here, we will take you to your hotel.

Day 15: Delhi

Enjoy a morning sightseeing tour of Old Delhi, taking in the impressive Red Fort, Jama Masjid - India’s oldest and largest mosque. This afternoon we further enhance your exploration of this bustling city with an afternoon guided journey through the New Delhi area the highlights will include India gate a drive past parliamentary buildings and President's house, a guided visit to Humayun's tomb then concluding with sightseeing to UNESCO World Heritage Site Qutub minar.


Day 16: Delhi - Shimla

Bright and early this morning we board the Shatabdi Express bound for Kalka. Here, travellers will transfer across the platform (independently) to the narrow gauge Himalayan Queen Toy Train travelling to Shimla. Arriving here, our local guide is on hand to transfer you to your hotel. (Depart Delhi 07:30 aprox - Arrive Shimla 05:00 aprox)

Days 17-18: Shimla

The next two days we will leave you to your own devices to explore and venture into the narrow streets, which fall steeply away from the ridge giving way to colourful bazaars and fine views of the surrounding valley and snow-capped peaks. Day 19: Shimla - Delhi

Today offers free time for you to independently explore Shimla. You can opt to stroll, drop by the colourful Lakkar Bazaar or hike to the summit of Jakhoo Hill, Shimla’s highest point. Here visitors are rewarded with panoramic views of the eternal snows set as a glorious backdrop to the sleepy township of Shimla beneath. Hotel check out is at 12 noon, opt for some lunch and pack an evening picnic meal before boarding the Kalka Shatabdi Express at sunset and arriving into Delhi late this evening around 21:00.

Day 20: Delhi

Sadly your journey comes to an end we will transfer you to the airport in time for your flight home.
