Day 1: Delhi
Welcome to India and the start of your holiday! You will be met at Delhi International Airport by our friendly local team and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure to explore or relax as you like.
Day 2: Delhi - Mt Abu
Morning flight to Udaipur - Arriving here, our local team will collect you and transfer you to the hill station of Mt Abu. Remainder of the day at your leisure.
Days 3-6: Mt Abu
Mount Abu with its beautiful landscapes, lakes, waterfalls, sunset & sunrise points and lush green forests provides an excellent opportunity for nature lovers and also in town it's many historic temples provides interesting in sight into regional history. Enjoy the next days at leisure to explore all that is on offer.
Day 7: Mt Abu - Udaipur
Today we will make our way to Udaipur by private car. Along the way, making two interesting stops to visit Ranakpur and its famous Jain temples then Kumbalgarh Fort, one of the most important forts in Rajasthan.
Day 8: Udaipur
This morning enjoy a half tour of the imposing City Palace and this afternoon enjoy time to explore and perhaps shop for colourful Rajasthani souvenirs and Indian spices. Day 11: Udaipur - Agra
Morning we fly to Delhi - Arrival here and enjoy time to have some lunch before journey by private car to Agra. Arriving into Agra enjoy the remainder of the evening at leisure.
Day 12: Agra - Kanpur
This morning we will enjoy a guided sunrise tour of the magnificent Taj Mahal. Later today we tour the Agra Fort, which boasts some of India’s finest Mughal buildings behind it’s fortified walls. During its history it has been a palace, a fort and a prison! Later afternoon transfer to the station for the express train to Kanpur (Aprox 3 hours) Arriving into Kanpur no arrangements with on the go tours.
Day 15: Kanpur - Delhi
This morning at 7 am our local driver will collect you with train tickets in hand. He will take you to the station to catch the 07:00 Gomti Express train to Delhi (AC CHAIR CAR) Arriving into Delhi at 14:00 we will transfer you to your hotel.
Day 16: Delhi
After breakfast we'll enjoy a morning sightseeing tour of Old Delhi, taking in the impressive Red Fort, Jama Masjid - India’s oldest and largest mosque. This afternoon why not further enhance your exploration of this busting city with an afternoon guided journey through the New Delhi area the highlights will include India gate a drive past parliamentary buildings and President's house, a guided visit to Humayun's tomb then concluding with sightseeing to UNESCO World Heritage Site Qutub minar.
