Day 1: Delhi

Welcome to the start of your voyage of discovery through 'Incredible India'! You will be met at Delhi International Airport by our friendly local team and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure to explore or relax as you like.

Day 2: Delhi

Enjoy a day at leisure to explore Delhi - You can always call our local office whom can offer assistance or advice on things to see and do.

Day 3: Delhi - Jaisalmer

This morning a transfer to the airport puts you on the 9W 2475 flight to Jodhpur(DEP:-10:15 - ARR:-11:45) Arriving here, our local driver will escort you to Jaisalmer and your hotel which is around a six hours drive. Enroute we visit a apottery village at Pokharan. On arrival in Jaisalmer you will be taken to your hotel for check in.

Day 4: Jaisalmer

Enjoy a half day guided exploration of this incredible city. Highlights will include Jaisalmer Fort, the Jain temples and many interesting Havelis (mansions)such as Nathmal ji Ki Haveli, Salim Singh ji Haveli, Patwon Ki Haveli. Enjoy the afternoon to explore at your leisure.

Day 5: Jaisalmer

Today you will be driven around three hours to the little known town of Barmer. This afternoon we have arranged a guide to take you around exploring the primary focus of this is the fantastic array of cottage handicraft industry, such as woodcarving, furniture, block printing, carpet weaving, embroidery and more. Day 6: Jaisalmer - Jodhpur

Today it is around a five hours drive that brings your to Jodhpur city. Arriving here, check into your hotel and relax for the remainder of the day.

Day 7: Jodhpur

This morning we take a tour of Mehrangarh Fort and the Cenotaphs before an afternoon visit to The Bishnoi Villages in the region. The Bishnoi are an eco Friendly sect of the Hindu religion, it is a very unique community in Rajasthan who are famous for their rich culture Rajasthan Life. You will explore amongst others, the villages of Salawas (weaver village) and Kakani (block printing)

Day 8: Jodhpur - Jaipur

Todays interesting six hours drive brings you to the city of Jaipur, also known as the 'Pink City' Arriving here, check into your hotel and relax for the remainder of the day.

Day 9: Jaipur

Heading out of the city the full day will be spent exploring Sanganer town to see Handmade Paper factories and tye & dye works. This is followed by a visit to Bagru town which is famous for its printing on textiles, return back to your Jaipur hotel by evening.

Day 10: Jaipur

This morning we visit the impressive Amber Fort where (subject to availability) you will be transported to the lofty fort by elephant back. Later enjoy your guided visit to the Anokhi Museum which is solely dedicated to the collection, preservation and interpretation of block printed cloth an ancient craft that they aim to preserve wholeheartedly.

Day 11: Jaipur - Delhi

Before we depart for Delhi today we take a morning sight seeing tour of the City Palace, Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal and we view the Johari Bazaar before leaving the Rajasthan region and driving back to the big city of Delhi. Here, after check in the day is at your leisure.

Day 12: Delhi

Day 13: Delhi - Srinagar

Today we fly to Srinagar (9W 7088 - DEP:-10:15 - ARR:-11:45) -Srinagar is the capital of Jammu and Kashmir, situated in the northwestern region of India. Upon arrival you'll be met and transferred to your houseboat on Nageen Lake, part of Dal Lake, which will be your home for the next 4 nights.

Day 14: Srinagar

This morning we visit some of the stunning Mughal Gardens that Srinagar is famous for. We visit the terraced Nishat Bagh or Nishat Garden on the eastern side of the lake. Later we visit Shalimar Garden, equally as stunning and located on the northeast side of the lake. In the afternoon enjoy exploring Old Srinagar Town which includes a visit to the Jama Masjid, Shah Hamdan mosque, Srinagar Museum, the local bazaars and the paper mache and embroidery district.

Day 15: Srinagar

Enjoy a full day excursion to Gulmarg in English this translates to 'Meadow of Flowers' this is India's premier Ski destination. Today is all about nature and enjoying the scenery so sit back and relax and take in the gorgeous surroundings.

Day 16: Srinagar

This morning we board one of the colourful shikara to visit the floating gardens, known as "Rad" in Kashmiri, where mounds of earth make for a fascinating display as they protrude from the water topped with all sorts of growing local produce. Tomatoes, cucumbers and melons have been found to grow the best with the constant source of irrigation. Afternoon at your leisure to explore.

Day 17: Srinagar - Kargil

Today we have a long nine hour drive ahead of us -- We will drive from Srinagar to Kargil- Sit back and enjoy the spectacular views along the way. Along the way we will enjoy a stretch of the legs to visit to Sonamarg, a golden meadow area surrounded by snow peaks galore with a beautiful river running through it, which streams down from the mountains.

Day 18: Kargil - Leh & Ladakh

Today we have an interesting six hour drive. Heading for the Zanskar valley along the way we will visit the remote villages of Panikar and Parkachan for an insight into the High Himalayan life and to take in the stunning views of the Nun & Kun peaks. Arriving into Rangdum enjoy some down time at your himalayan camp. (OVERNIGHT IN RANGDUM - Nunkum Camp)

Day 19: Leh & Ladakh

Today we travel by road through the mountains around six hours to Padum. Along the way visiting Rangdum Gompa & Suni Gompa. (OVERNIGHT IN PADUM - Hotel Zambala)

Day 20: Leh & Ladakh

Today a full day spent exploring the surrounding fascinating sites. Highlights include Pipitong, Thonde Gompa and Zangla situated at 3450M. Returning to the hotel we visit Karsha monastery which is one of the oldest in India. (OVERNIGHT IN PADUM - Hotel Zambala)

Day 21: Leh & Ladakh

Today we visit Padam market and Padam Gompa before the afternoon is at your own leisure. (OVERNIGHT IN PADUM - Hotel Zambala)

Day 22: Leh & Ladakh

Today we retrace our steps and travel by road through the mountains around six hours back to Rangdum.(OVERNIGHT IN RANGDUM - Nunkum Camp)

Day 23: Leh & Ladakh - Kargil

Again retracing our steps we return to Kargil around eight hours driving. (OVERNIGHT IN KARGIL - Siachen Hotel)

Day 24: Kargil - Leh & Ladakh

Todays scenic eight hours driving brings us to Leh. Along the way we will stop to explore Alchi and Lamayuru monasteries. (OVERNIGHT IN LEH - Noble House Hotel)

Day 25: Leh & Ladakh

Enjoy the day at your leisure to explore. (OVERNIGHT IN LEH - Noble House Hotel)

Day 26: Leh & Ladakh

Today's full day guided exploration includes the Hemis Monastery, Shey Monastery - a former royal palace and Tikse Gompa - a 12 story high complex resembling Potala Palace in Lhasa, housing Buddhist art, statues, art and swords. (OVERNIGHT IN LEH - Noble House Hotel)

Day 27: Leh & Ladakh

Today we drive to the Nubra Valley along the way we drive through the Khardungla Pass which at a dizzying height of 5,359m is disputed though claimed to be the world's highest motorable road! Arriving into the valley we will visit the Nubra valley Monasteries (OVERNIGHT IN NUBRA VALLEY- Silk Route Cottages Hotel)

Day 28: Leh & Ladakh

Continue our exploration today of the Nubra Valley Monasteries, we then return by car back to Leh. (OVERNIGHT IN LEH - Noble House Hotel)

Day 29: Leh & Ladakh

Today is a free day to explore Leh.

Day 30: Leh & Ladakh - Delhi

Today we return to civilization with a flight from Leh to Delhi - Flight 9W 2436 - DEP:-07.45- ARR:-08.55. Back in Delhi our driver will take you to your hotel.

Days 31-32: Delhi

Enjoy a the next two days at leisure to explore Delhi - You can always call our local office who can offer assistance or advice on things to see and do.

Sadly your epic voyage comes to an end, we will be sure to transfer you to Delhi Airport in time for your flight home.
