Day 1: Delhi
Welcome to India!! On arrival at the airport you will be transferred to your hotel for check in. (early check in subject to occupancy of the day- normal check in from 12 noon)
Day 2: Delhi
This morning we take a half day sightseeing of Old Dehli. Our tour takes in Jama Mosque, the Red Fort and a rickshaw ride through the bustling bylanes of the old town. The rest of the afternoon is yours free to enjoy at your own pace.
Day 3: Delhi
Today is a free day in Dehli- alternatively why not enhance your holiday with our optional tour of New Dehli. For prices and information please refer to our holiday enhancement page of this quote.
Day 4: Delhi - Jaipur
Today we continue our journey Of the Golden Triangle to Jaipur. Our driver will meet you at your hotel and transfer you to the railway station for your onwards train journey to Jaipur ( AC Chair Car). On arrival in Jaipur you will be met at the station and transferred to your hotel for check in. The rest of the afternoon is at your leisure.
Day 5: Jaipur

Day 7: Jaipur
This morning we take a tour to the 16th century Amber Fort. An exotic elephant ride transports us to the lofty fort (subject to availability), where we’ll enjoy a tour of this Rajput extravaganza. This afternoon is free time to further explore Jaipur.
Day 8: Jaipur - Agra
Today we say goodbye to Jaipur and and transferred to the train station for our onward journey to Agra. On arrival in Agra you will be met by a representative and transferred to your hotel for check in. The rest of the afternoon is yours free to explore Agra.
Day 9: Agra
This morning we journey to Agra, once India’s Mughal capital. Here, we visit the impressive Agra Fort, which boasts some of India's finest Mughal buildings behind it's fortified walls. Later on we take a motorised buggy to the legendary Taj Mahal and witness a magical sunset. Built by Shah Jahan in the 16th century as an enduring memorial to his beloved wife Mumtaz. Built entirely of white marble, the Taj Mahal has no peers. This afternoon we visit Sikandra before a free evening.
Day 11: Agra - Delhi
This morning our driver will meet your hotel and once again transfer you to the train station for your return journey back to Delhi. On arrival in Delhi you will be met at the train station and transferred to your hotel where the rest of the afternoon is yours free to enjoy.
Day 12: Delhi - Nainital
This morning our driver will meet you at your hotel and transfer you to the train station for your train journey to Kathgodam. On arrival at Kathgodam you will be met by our representative and transferred by road to Nainital where you will be delivered to your hotel for check in. Overnight- The Corner Hotel
Day 13: Nainital
Today is a free day to relax and explore Nainital at your own pace. Nainital was discovered by Europeans in 1841 and quickly became a popular hill retreat, with its peanut shaped lake and set in a mountain hollow. Today Nainital is still a popular hill retreat and it is a great base for exploring Kumaon. The lake is a draw card, with sailing being popular. Overnight- The Corner Hotel
Day 14: Nainital
Today we visit Naini Lake and Nakuchia Lake where we take a boat trip on the lake. (to be paid locally) and take a visit to Governor's House- completed in March 1900 the 220 acre property was built in the line of Buckingham Palace. It has 113 double storied rooms. Day 15: Nainital
This morning we travel by road back to Kathgodam where we board an overnight train for Dehradun. Overnight- On board train 2nd Class AC Sleeper
Day 16:
DEHRADUN Today is a free day to Dehradun to explore at your own pace. Overnight- The Presidents Hotel
Day 17:

Day 18: - Chandigarh
Today we travel by road to Saharanpur where we are transferred to the train station for our train journey to Chandigarh. On arrival in Chandigarh you will be met at the station and transferred to your hotel. Overnight- Hometel Chandigarh
Day 19: Chandigarh
Chandigarh is jointly state capital of both Punjab and Haryana but oddly it is part of neither, being a Union Territory administered by India’s federal government. Its history began with Partition in 1947, when the Punjab’s main capital Lahore fell on the Pakistani side of the border, leaving the Indian state of Punjab without a capital.This morning we take a city tour before a free afternoon. Overnight- Hometel Chandigarh
Day 20: Chandigarh - Shimla
This morning we travel by road to Kalka where we catch the train to Shimla. On arrival in Shimla you will be met at the station and transferred to your hotel. The largest and most famous of the British hill stations, Shimla is the capital of the state of Himachal Pradesh and remains today a popular resort. Set in the foothills of the Himalayas along a crescent-shaped ridge at an altitude of 2159m, it afforded a resort-like atmosphere for the British, so much so that it became the ‘summer capital’ of British India in 1864.
Day 21: Shimla
Today we enjoy full day guided sightseeing tour of the lofty settlement, venturing into the narrow streets, which fall steeply away from the ridge giving way to colourful bazaars and fine views of the surrounding valley and snow-capped peaks.
Day 23: Shimla - Kasauli
Today we travel by road to Kasauli. Built by the British during the hey day of the Raj, Kasauli is a charming little town that seems to exist in a time warp, reminiscent of a by-gone era. Its colonial ambience is reinforced by cobbled paths, quaint shops, gabled houses with beautiful facades and scores of neat little gardens and orchards. Mixed forests of chir-pine, Himalayan oak and huge horse chestnuts surround Kasauli. Its narrow roads wind around the hillsides and offer some magnificent views. On arrival we check in for a free day. Overnight- Kusuali Regency
Day 24: Kasauli
Today we take a visit to the Lawerence school in Sanawar. An impressive school which attracts students from all over the continent it sits 1750 Meters above sea leave and boasts and impressive 139 acres. This afternoon is free time. Overnight- Kusuali Regency
Day 25: Kasauli - Chandigarh
Today we travel back to Chandigarh by Road, where you will be taken to your hotel for one final night in India. Overnight- Hometel Chandigarh
Day 26: Chandigarh
This morning our representative will meet you at the hotel to transfer you to the train station for your journey back to Delhi. On arrival in Delhi (approx 10.30am) you will me met and transferred to your hotel for day use. (Almondz Hotel) (6 hours). This evening for a final time our representative will meet you at your hotel and transfer you to the airport for your departure flight. Our arrangement's end upon arrival at the airport.
