Welcome to Delhi! You will be met by an On The Go Representative and driver and transferred to you hotel to settle in to your new surroundings.
After breakfast we travel by road from Delhi to Agra. After checking into our hotel we head out on a afternoon sightseeing tour where, we visit the impressive Agra Fort, boasting some of India's finest Mughal buildings, and the legendary Taj Mahal. Built by Shah Jahan in the 16th century as an enduring memorial to his beloved wife Mumtaz the Taj Mahal is Built entirely of white marble.
Today we say goodbye to Agra and head to Jaipur home of the majestic Amber Fort. After check in we take an afternoon city tour taking in the sights of the City Palace, Hawa Mahal, and Jantar Mantar, an ancient astronomical observatory.
This morning look out for the snake charmers that dot our route, as we travel to the 16th century Amber Fort. If available, an exotic elephant ride transports us to the lofty fort, where we’ll enjoy a tour of this Rajput extravaganza. (elephant ride subject to availability alternative transportation is by Jeep.) On our return from the fort we will be transferred to the Airport for our flight to Chandigarh. On Arrival you will be transferred to your hotel (booked privately and not included in this itinerary)
In Chandigarh you are left to your own devices untill the morning of the 18th of November when you will be met at your hotel and transferred to the Airport where you will fly via Dehli to Kathmandu. On Arrival in Kathmandu you will be met on arrival and transferred to your hotel to begin our Nepal adventure.
Today we begin our exploration of Nepal.Resembling a medieval city of temples, shrines and living gods, Kathmandu is Nepal’s biggest and most cosmopolitan city, a meeting place of a dozen ethnic groups and once one of the most important points on the caravan routes between Tibet and India. we begin with a full day of Sightseeing including a city tour, Swayambhunath Temple and Baktapur.
Today we enjoy breakfast at the hotel before a free day for you to explore Kathmandu at your leisure.
Another Full day of sightseeing today we visit the large and beautiful Buddhist stupa of Bodhnath, adorned with thousands of candles made with butter. These unusual lights are said to aid meditation and are replenished by worshippers who donate butter as a way of gaining extra karmic merit. Then explore magical Durbar Square - a complex of royal palaces and temples, and the social, religious and urban focal point of the city. We also include Pashupatinath Temple, and the Tibetan Refugee Centre.
After a full day of exploring today you once again have free time to explore at your own leisure.
Today marks the end of our tour with a transfer to the airport for our onward flight home.
