Welcome to India and the start of your holiday! Arrive Delhi, included transfer to hotel.
After breakfast we’ll enjoy a full day sightseeing tour of Delhi, taking in the impressive Red Fort, Jama Masjid - India’s oldest and largest mosque, Raj Ghat - the site of Gandhi’s cremation and more.
Departing Delhi, we journey to Agra to explore the legendary Taj Mahal. Built entirely of white marble, the Taj Mahal has no peers. Continuing, we visit Agra fort, which boasts some of India’s finest Mughal buildings.
En route to Jaipur, we visit the ghostly former Mughal city of Fatehpur Sikri, abandoned due to lack of water. We enjoy lunch at Udai Vilas Palace in Bharatpur, before taking a walk through the nearby rural village Peharsar. Arrive into Jaipur check into your hotel evening at leisure.
Look out for the snake charmers that dot our route, as we continue to the 16th century Amber Fort. An exotic elephant ride transports us to the lofty fort, where we’ll enjoy a tour of this Rajput extravaganza. Later in the afternoon we tour the City Palace, which boasts an interesting museum of regal attire and Jantar Mantar, an ancient astronomical observatory.
Enjoy the morning free to explore the city. Later transfer to Ranthambore National Park. Arriving there check into your lodge and relax.
Enjoy your final morning game drive before your transfer to the station for the train back to Delhi. Arriving into Delhi included transfer to your hotel.
This afternoon you fly to Varanasi. Arriving there we transfer you to your hotl. This evening your guide will take you toi the riverside steps to see the ancient ritual of worship that takes place.
This morning, we enjoy a sunrise boat ride on the holy Ganges where we’ll view the ancient religious tradition of ritual cleansing that takes place on the many riverbank ghats (riverside steps). Later, we embark on a tour of the city's main highlights and Sarnath which is where Buddha made his first sermon.
Free morning. This afternoon you fly direct to Katmandhu. Arriving there our local team will meet you and transfer you to your hotel.
This morning you will enjoy a city tour of Kathmandu, which will include Durbar Square, Swayambhunath, Kastha Mandap and Kumari Devi. An afternoon visit to Patan and Tibetan handicrafts centre.
Today we head to the ancient Capital - Bodhnath. The stupa is one of the seven world heritage sites all over the Kathmandu valley. This colossal and ancient Stupa, one of the biggest in the world, features all the eyes of Lord Buddha. Enjoy a full day at this spirtual site and if you like your guide can take you for a short hike to see the views before heading back to your hotel this evening.
