This afternoon, enjoy a tour of New Delhi, designed by the eminent Sir Edward Lutyens. Highlights include the India Gate, Rajpath and bustling Connaught Place. A visit is also made to Qutab Minar, essentially a massive tower built to proclaim the arrival of Islam in the 11th century.
This morning you will fly to Varanasi. Arrival transfer to your hotel. LAter enjoy as tour of the famous Buddhist holy sight of Sarnath this is where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon to the five holy men; preaching the middleway to final 'NIRVANA’. This evening your guide will you to the riverside to see the pilgrims offer worship to there sacred river.
Early this morning we enjoy a boat ride on the River Ganges to view the sunrise and the ancient religious tradition of ritual cleansing that takes place on the ghats (riverside steps). Enjoy a tour of the city, with its numerous temples and wonderful historic feel; with time later to relax.
Today you will fly to Khajuraho - home of the resplendent Hindu temples which were built during the Chandela dynasty over a 100 year burst of creative genius from 950-1050 AD. Arrival transfer to your hotel.

After breakfast we take you to the train station for the express train to Agra. Arrival transfer to your hotel. Arrival and we will visit the impressive Agra Fort, which boasts some of India's finest Mughal buildings behind it's fortified walls.
This morning we take a motorised buggy to the legendary Taj Mahal and witness a magical sunset. Built by Shah Jahan in the 16th century as an enduring memorial to his beloved wife Mumtaz. Built entirely of white marble, the Taj Mahal has no peers. After we drive to Jaipur. En route we visit the ghostly former Mughal city of Fatehpur Sikri, abandoned due to lack of water. As we get closer to Jaipur we stop for a tasty lunch and visit Chandra Haveli, a charming haveli (mansion house) with small courtyard, lawned gardens and rustic appeal carefully being restored to the splendour of better farming years.
Look out for the snake charmers that dot our route, as we travel to the 16th century Amber Fort. An exotic elephant ride transports us to the lofty fort, where we’ll enjoy a tour of this Rajput extravaganza. Later in the afternoon we tour the City Palace, which boasts an interesting museum of regal attire and Jantar Mantar, an ancient astronomical observatory. This morning at 9am we will drive to Shahpura Bagh a lovely small town situated between Jaipur and Udaipur which is around a four hour drive away. Here on arrival you will get to experience the hospitality of the Shahpura Royal Family after check in, you can go for a walk in the village or simply relax at the hotels infinity pool.
Enjoy a morning of leisure before we drive our final leg around four hours to Udaipur. On arrival we assist with your check into your hotel. Evening at leisure.
This morning enjoy touring the imposing City Palace, a vision in soft yellow stone on the northeast promontory with breathtaking views of the lake. We then take you to visit Jagdish Temple and Sahelion ki bari a couple of hours to relax this evening before we drive half hour to the Monsoon Palace to witness sunset and experience the magic atmosphere at twilight.
Today we will transfer you to the airport in Udaipur in time for your flight to Kochi (Via Mumbai (Times S2 4094 – 0715 / 0835 -- 6E 244 - 1140 / 1330) Arriving into Kochi we will meet you and transfer you to your hotel.
This morning enjoy a sightseeing tour of the town including the beautiful Parsi Synagogue built in 1568, the Dutch Palace built by the Portuguese in 1555 and St Francis’ Church. A walking tour of Fort Cochin takes you through streets still graced with traces of Portuguese, Dutch and British colonial architecture. Afternoon free.
