This morning you take to the sky and fly to holy city of Benares (Varanasi) Arriving here we will transfer you to your hotel. This evening your guide will take you on a boat trip to see the evening worship of the Holy River Ganges.

Enjoy your early morning boat ride to see the ritual cleansing that pilgrims from all over India come to perform. We then drive to Chunar, which is a town with a huge fort overlooking the river Ganges. Former site of many battles, the fort not only has great views of the Ganges, but a sundial, a huge well, prison an execution room. It is a good option to see the Ganges outside of the crowds in Varanasi. After we drive onward to Allahabad.
