This morning enjoy a sightseeing tour of Udaipur, highlights include the City Palace and museum. The City Palace is a vision in soft yellow stone on the northeast promontory with breathtaking views of the lake and is the largest palace complex in Rajasthan. This evening you will take ride in an private boat on Lake Pichola itself.
This morning after breakfast we will take the drive to the town of Mount Abu; it is the only hill station in Rajasthan, and located at an elevation of 1220 meters. On arrival we will transfer you to your hotel with the evening at your leisure.
Today enjoy a full day tour of Mt Abu - it is a big domestic tourist atttraction so you will see lots of local tourists enjoying the sights. The Jain Dilwara Temples are a big attraction especially as the marble carvings are so refined they seem to have been grown rather than constructed. Lake Nakki also appeals with its rather bizarre rock formations - look out for 'Toad Rock'.
This morning we take the drive onwards into Rajasthan heading on to Jodhpur. Enjoy a sightseeing tour of the city, taking in the old city, which is surrounded by a 10km-long wall. In the old city are a tangle of streets and alleyways, bazaars and human traffic. The city is dominated by its massive fort, which sits atop a sheer rocky ridge right in the middle of the town. Meherangarh Fort, still run by the Maharaja of Jodhpur is an impressive sight.
This morning we take the drive to the desert camp of Manvar located in the midst of the wilderness surrounded by the sand dunes, the concept of the isolated splendor of Manvar Tented camp seems to trace its birth to the 17th century when while on his way to the battlefields, the Mughal Emperor Jehangir, used to set up royal style camps. This afternoon enjoy a camel ride in the desert.
This morning we take the drive to Khimisar, on arrival the day is yours withe the driver and car at your disposal to explore your stunning surroundings. The fort is perched on the edge on the great Thar Desert in the Heart of rural India.
Today we take the drive to Jaipur - on arrival into the Pink City the day is yours at your leisure.
Look out for the snake charmers that dot our route, as we travel to the 16th century Amber Fort, a wonderful example of Rajput architecture just north of Jaipur. An exotic elephant ride transports us to the lofty fort, where you will enjoy a tour of this Rajput extravaganza. Later in the afternoon you tour the City Palace, which boasts an interesting museum of regal attire and Jantar Mantar, an ancient astronomical observatory.
After a relaxing breakfast we will head off to Agra; home to of India's most famous monument - the Taj Mahal. En route we will also pay a visit to the ghostly former Moghul city of Fatehpur Sikri - the fortified ghost city abandoned soon after its construction because of water shortages in the area. Arriving in Agra you will check into your hotel and expliore the Red fort and baby taj.
This morning visit India's most iconic monument built for love - the stunning Taj Mahal. here you will enjoy exploration time and also a guided explanation of this once powerful mogul emperor’s monument to love. This afternoon we will drive you north to Delhi and check straight into your hotel.
Today we explore both Old and New Delhi - the order of New Delhi is a huge contrast to the unorganised chaos of the Old City. But both are just as appealing. Highlights will be the impressive Red Fort, Jama Masjid - India’s oldest and largest mosque, Raj Ghat - the site of Gandhi’s cremation and more.

This fternoon we take you to the airport for your flight to Varanasi (IT 621 1305:1415), on arrival we will transfer you to your hotel and this afternoon enjoy a tour of India's holiest city abundant with temples and labyrinthine streets. Varanasi is guaranteed to make an impression. The city of 1,027,000 is where thousands of Hindu pilgrims tour its temples and bathe in the Ganges River to gain religious merit.
This morning, we enjoy a sunrise boat ride on the holy Ganges where we’ll view the ancient religious tradition of ritual cleansing that takes place on the many riverbank ghats (riverside steps). The rest of the day is free with the car and driver at your diposal. At sunset consider re-visiting the ghats for the evening pilgramage, remarkably different from the dawn ritual.

Today a visit to the Famous Golden Temple, the seat of the Sikh religion; Amritsar is one of the Punjab’s principal cities. Built in 1803 and made of marble, copper and pure leaf gold, the temple is an amazing architectural feat. Also you will enjoy a visit to Wagah - the only border crossing between India and Pakistan for the sunset ‘Retreat’ ceremony, where the changing of the guards & ceremonial lowering of the flags is performed with great pomp.
This morning its an early start as we take you to the train station for your train back to Delhi (0510/1110 air conditioned chair car), on arrival we wil transfer you to the domestic airport for your flight to Mumbai (9W 352 1400/1600 hrs), on arrival we will transfer you to your hotel in the city.
This morning we take the cruise to visit Elephanta caves. The rock-cut temples on peaceful Elephanta Island are thought to have been carved between 450 and 750 AD. The main cave contains large sculpted panels, including an astonishing 18-foot depiction of Shiva. Enjoy an afternoon sightseeing tour one of the most highly populated cities in the world, accommodating approximately 18 million people!
