Namaste! Welcome to India and New Delhi the capital city of India. We will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel with the rest of the day yours to relax after your long flight.
Today we explore both Old and New Delhi - the order of New Delhi is a huge contrast to the unorganised chaos of the Old City. But both are just as appealing. Highlights today will be the impressive Red Fort, Jama Masjid - India’s oldest and largest mosque, the bazaars of Chandni Chowk, Qutab Minar, Humayun's tomb and Lutyen's building.
An early morning start we will drive to Agra (aprox 04 hours) - home of India's famous attraction - the Taj Mahal. Upon arrival enjoy a sightseeing tour to the Agra Fort, before watching the sun set on the Taj Mahal itself.
This morning we will take a drive out to the ghostly fortified city of Fatehpur Sikri (aprox 05 hours), abandoned only 8 years after its construction due to droughts in the area continuing on you will arrive into Jaipur 'The Pink City'. In the afternoon enjoy some free time to relax.
This morning we visit the delicate pink, magnificent fort-palace of Amber - a wonderful example of Rajput architecture just north of Jaipur. Subject to Government regulations, we will arrive in style atop an elephant! Enjoy an afternoon sightseeing tour of the city. Highlights include Sawai Man Singh Museum, Jantar Mantar-Observatory, Hawa Mahal and the colourful bazaar of the Pink city.
This morning we will drive you to Delhi (aprox 5 hours). Arrive Delhi and you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
This morning we will drive you to the airport for your economy class flight to Kochi. Flight number 9W 7011 departs at 1245 and arrives at 1605. Arrive Kochi and you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
This morning enjoy a half day sightseeing tour, including a walking tour of Fort Cochin. This afternoon we will drive you to Alleppey and check you into the hotel.
This morning we journey by road where you’ll board a traditional Keralan rice boat for a journey through the backwaters in and around Allapuzha (Alleppey). The boat will cross shallow, palm-fringed lakes and cruise along peaceful canals where copra and cashews are loaded onto local boats. The on-board cook will prepare locally-inspired food. Relax, read and catch some sun as the boat plies its route.
Disembarking at Kumarakom today we will transfer you to the hotel and check you in.
Today you'll drive to Periyar, home to one of India's most popular wildlife sanctuaries, and check in to your hotel.
Today you will enjoy a tranquil boat ride, drift silently along the water's of Lake Periyar, spotting wild elephent herds and many of the varied wildlife the park has to offer. This afternoon we enjoy a walking tour of the spice plantations.
We will transfer you through to Kodaikanal today, one of the most popular hill stations in all of India, with its forests, mighty rock formations, enchanting waterfalls and a beautiful lake, Kodaikanal Lake.
This morning we check out from the hotel and transfer you to Mettupalayam, on the foothills of the Nilgiri mountains.
Early morning transfer to Mettupalayam railway station for the Nilgiri Blue Mountains railway toy train to Ooty. At a maximum speed of 33km/hour, this ‘toy train’ treks across plains, plantation and forest clad hills sit back relax enjoy 4 hours of views along the way. Arrival in Ooty we transfer you to your hotel.
You will have a full day guided sightseeing, taking in Ooty and Coonor, a retreat covered by grassy meadows, tea bushes, a profusion of sunflowers, marigolds and rhododendrons, all growing wild. Coonoor is essentially a small tea garden town where the weather remains pleasantly cool throughout the year.
We will drive you to Mysore today, the highlight of which is the Maharaja’s Palace - the present one being completed in 1912 after the original palace burnt down in 1897.
Say goodbye to Mysore and get ready for Bangalore. After breakfast you'll head to this vibrant lively city. On arrival we will check you into the hotel.
