The grand entrance into Delhi's famous Red Fort

Day 1: Delhi

Welcome to the start of your voyage of discovery through 'Incredible India'! You will be met at Delhi International Airport by our friendly local team and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure to explore or relax as you like.

Day 2: Delhi

This morning, our Welcome Meeting takes place. After, Today you have opted further enhance your exploration of this busting city with an afternoon guided journey through the New Delhi area the highlights will include India gate a drive past parliamentary buildings and President's house, a guided visit to Humayun's tomb then concluding with sightseeing to UNESCO World Heritage Site Qutub minar.

Day 3: Delhi

After breakfast, enjoy a morning sightseeing tour of Old Delhi, taking in the impressive Red Fort, Jama Masjid - India’s oldest and largest mosque.

Day 4: Delhi - Agra

Departing Delhi, we journey around 5 hrs to Agra, once India’s Mughal capital. Arriving, we visit Agra fort, which boasts some of India’s finest Mughal buildings behind it’s fortified walls. During its history it has been a palace, a fort and a prison! Later on we take a motorised buggy to the legendary Taj Mahal and witness a magical sunset.

Day 5: Agra - Jaipur

En route on our drive to Jaipur, we visit the ghostly former Mughal city of Fatehpur Sikri, abandoned due to lack of water. As we get closer to Jaipur we cn stop for a tasty lunch in an old charming haveli (mansion house) with small courtyard, lawned gardens and rustic appeal if you like? Arriving into Jaipur check into your hotel and the evening is yours to relax.

Day 6: Jaipur

This morning you will have to look out for the snake charmers that dot our route, as we travel to the 16th century Amber Fort. An exotic elephant ride transports us to the lofty fort, where we’ll enjoy a tour of this Rajput extravaganza. This afternoon you have opted for our journey of discovery through the historic pink city of Jaipur. We start with a photo stop in front of Jal mahal (lake palace) thereafter visit the ancient astronomical observatory of Jantar mantar and thereafter a guided tour of the city palace complex and it’s fascinating nooks and crannies.

Day 7: Jaipur - Kolkata

This morning take to sky and fly onward to Kolkata. Once you arrive into Kolkata you will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to explore Kolkata or relax at the hotel.

Day 8: Kolkata

This morning enjoy a city sights tour including a visit to the imposing Victoria Memorial. Opened by the Prince of Wales in 1921, this vision in marble is often called the “Taj” of the British Raj. We also visit the New Market – a bazaar on Chowringhee Road, the stately Indian Museum founded in 1814 and the oldest and largest in India, St Paul’s Cathedral and the extraordinary Marble Palace which houses paintings by Rubens, Titian and Reynolds.

Day 9: Kolkata

Enjoy the day at leisure to explore. The graft of a European city imposed on an Asian landscape lends Kolkata a bewitching blend of colour, charm and excitement. The city is a compelling medley of ancient and modern with its skyscrapers and Raj-era architecture. It’s colourful, effervescent and overflowing with life and tradition so head out and explore all it has to offer.

Day 10: Kolkata - New Jalpaiguri

Enjoy the day to independently explore Kolkata. In the afternoon, you’ll board the train. Train travel is a must-do experience for any visitor young or old! The friendly locals will be vying for a chat with you. Sit back and enjoy the journey as it heads north to New Jalpaiguri. Arriving late, our local rep will assist you to the hotel for a nights rest.

Day 11: New Jalpaiguri - Darjeeling

This morning the journey into the Himalayas really begins. Morning set off by car to Kurseong train station here you embark the world renown Toy Train which will take you all way up narrow gauge winding rails and a spectacular snow peak back drop to Darjeeling. Arriving in town our local guide will assist with transfer to your hotel.

Day 12: Darjeeling

Enjoy a free day to become acquainted with the higher altitude.

Day 13: Darjeeling

This morning a drive to Tiger Hill to catch sunrise over the snowy peaks of Kanchenjunga - the world’s third highest mountain. Continuing to the Ghoom Gompa (monastery) followed by city sightseeing tour that include the Mountaineering institute and then, a visit to a tea estate to see how our favourite brew is grown, picked and processed.

Day 14: Darjeeling

Enjoy a day to explore, I would highly recommend you head out for a hike on one of many trails leading off from town ranging from easy to hard.

Day 15: Darjeeling - New Jalpaiguri

Today we descend back down to New Jalpaiguri and check into your hotel for the night in preparation for making the entry into Nepal.

Day 16: New Jalpaiguri - Dharan

Today we travel across international borders with the usual formalities and into Nepal. After the crossing proceed to your hotel in Dharan.

Days 17-18: Dharan

For today and tomorrow enjoy time to explore at your leisure we have arranged a car to be at disposal for use within city limits.

Day 19: Dharan - Kathmandu

Today experience Nepal's world notorious domestic flights, we will transfer you to Biratnagar Airport for the flight to Katmandhu, hold on to your hats as the landing is fun if a thunderstorm is around. Arriving here, our KTM office team will transfer you to your hotel.

Day 20: Kathmandu

Today we enjoy guided sightseeing tour of the Kathmandu Valley. Admire the view from Swayambhunath Stupa, the most ancient of the Valley’s holy shrines, also known as Monkey Temple because of the many holy monkeys residing here. Visit the large and beautiful Buddhist stupa of Bodhnath, adorned with thousands of candles made with butter. These unusual lights are said to aid meditation and are replenished by worshippers who donate butter as a way of gaining extra karmic merit. Then explore magical Durbar Square - a complex of royal palaces and temples, and the social, religious and urban focal point of the city.

Day 21: Kathmandu

After breakfast we take a short drive to the historic town of Patan, sometimes referred to as Lalitpur, meaning City of Beauty, and admire the rich collection of temples and monasteries in the area. Returning in the afternoon for some free time to explore.

Day 22: Kathmandu

Your amazing journey through a large chunk of the Indian Sub continent sadly draws to and end today. We will ensure to transfer you to the airport in time for your flight home.
