Day 1: Kolkata

Welcome to the start of your exclusive voyage of discovery through 'Incredible India'! You will be met at Kolkata International Airport by our friendly local team and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure to explore or relax as you like.

Day 2: Kolkata

Enjoy a day with our expert guide exploring this incredible city. Highlights will include a visit to the imposing Victoria Memorial, the New Market – a bazaar on Chowringhee Road, the stately Indian Museum founded in 1814 and the oldest and largest in India, St Paul’s Cathedral and the extraordinary Marble Palace which houses paintings by Rubens, Titian and Reynolds. We also visit Mother Teresa House and burial site.

Day 3: Kolkata - Varanasi

This morning we visit the Dakshineswar Hindu Temple - 12 Shiva shrines, Belur Math - a temple complex and headquarters of a Monastic Order that is Hindu in origin, Dalhousie Square and the central train station for its wonderful architecture and of course Mother Teresa’s Ashram Home of Children. Returning to Kolkata Airport today you will take to the sky ( 15:05 - 16:50) and head north to the holy city of Varanasi. Arriving here, our local team are on hand to take you to your hotel.

Day 4: Varanasi

Enjoy an early morning boat ride on the Ganges to view the sunrise and see the holy rituals that takes place on the riverbank from the boat. After breakfast we set out to explore the city with its an incredible array of temples and ancient buildings. We will head to Vishvanatha temple to see the outside as it is closed to non-Hindus. After, visit the Durga Temple which we will enter. Further downstream on the eastern bank of the Ganges we explore the Ram Nagar Fort. Conclude the day by taking a walking tour of the Islamic quarter of the city. It’s here that famous Varanasi silk is dyed, dried and woven. This evening witness the Aarti ceremony!

Day 5: Varanasi - Agra

This morning we drive you back to the airport for the direct flight to Agra (12:20 – 13:15) Arriving here, our rep awaits to assist you to the hotel. The remainder of the day is free for you to relax or explore independently.

Day 6: Agra

This morning up early for your guided tour of and to witness the spectacular sunrise over the Taj Mahal. Later we visit the impressive Agra Fort, which boasts some of India's finest Mughal buildings behind it's fortified walls. Later afternoon we head out of the city to visit the deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri abandoned shortly after completion due to lack of water.

Day 7: Agra - Jaipur

This morning is free with the car and driver at your disposal and this afternoon you will be taken to the station and assisted with embarking the train (approximate timing 16:20 - 19:50) to Jaipur. Arriving into the Pink City, our driver is on hand to take you the short distance to your hotel.

Day 8: Jaipur

Today take a guided tour of the Pink City. Look out for the snake charmers that dot our route, as we travel to the 16th century Amber Fort. An exotic elephant ride (subject to availability) transports us to the lofty fort, where we’ll enjoy a tour of this Rajput extravaganza. Later in the afternoon we tour Hawa Mahal, Nahargarh Fort, the City Palace, which boasts an interesting museum of regal attire and Jantar Mantar, an ancient astronomical observatory.

Day 9: Jaipur - Delhi

Taking to the sky once more you will fly from Jaipur to Delhi (11:10 - 11:55). Arriving into Delhi, we will transfer you to your accommodation. The remainder of the day is free for you to relax or explore independently.

Day 10: Delhi

This morning we explore this bustling city with a guided journey through the New Delhi area the highlights will include India gate a drive past parliamentary buildings and President's house, a guided visit to Humayun's tomb then concluding with sightseeing to UNESCO World Heritage Site Qutub minar. This afternoon enjoy sightseeing of Agrasen ki Baoli Stepwell, Mehrauli Archaeological Park and the Lotus Temple.

Day 11: Delhi

Enjoy a morning sightseeing tour of Old Delhi, taking in the impressive Red Fort, Jama Masjid - India’s oldest and largest mosque. The remainder of your time is free to explore independently or as many do in this city shop till you drop!

Day 12: Delhi

Sadly your journey has reached an end, after hotel check-out, your driver will be there at 11am so that you have the car at your disposal until your flight this afternoon.
