Namaste! Welcome to India and India's economic hub and home to Bollywood - Mumbai. We will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel with the rest of the day yours to relax after your long flight.

Enjoy a half day sightseeing tour one of the most highly populated cities in the world, accommodating approximately 18 million people! Highlights include the Prince of Wales Museum, Dhobi Talao and Crawford Market. Today afternoon you have at leisure.

Today you have the day at leisure.

Day 4: Mumbai

This morning after breakfast we take the cruise to visit Elephanta caves - Mumbai's premier tourist attraction. The rock-cut temples on peaceful Elephanta Island are thought to have been carved between 450 and 750 AD. The main cave contains large sculpted panels, including an astonishing 18-foot depiction of Shiva. This afternoon you have at leisure.

Days 5-6: Mumbai

Day at leisure.

Day 7: Mumbai - Kolkata

Today you have the morning at leisure. In the evening you will be transferred to the train station were you will board a train to Kolkata. (overnight train - Duranto Express: Depart Mumbai 17:15 hrs - arrive in Kolkata 19:40)

Arrive Kolkata by 12261 [1st AC Sleeper Class] at 19:40. You are required to disembark from the train with your luggage and wait at the platform. You will be met by our representative at the platform and then transferred by a private vehicle to your hotel.(Portage at the railway station is paid by our representative)

Kolkata is an amazing example of East meets West. Enjoy a morning sightseeing tour which includes the Victoria Memorial, St. Paul Cathedral Church, St. John Church, Indian Museum Mother's House and drive past Howrah Bridge, River Side Fort William and Dalhousie Square

Full day Car and driver at disposal to visit the market for shopping.

Day 13: Kolkata - Darjeeling

Today you have the morning at leisure. Later today our representative and driver will meet you at your hotel to transfer you to the Railway Station in time for your departure from Kolkata by Train No 12345 [1st AC sleeper Class] to New Jalpaiguri - Train departs at 22:05 hours. (Darjeeling mail : Depart CCU 22:05 hours Arrive New Jalpaiguri – 08:00 hours)

Day 14: Darjeeling

On arrival at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station at 08:00 hours, you will be met by our representative and will be driven and transferred to Darjeeling. itting at a spectacular altitude of nearly 2200m with a backdrop consisting of mighty snow-clad Himalayan peaks and surrounded by verdant tea plantations, the scenic hill-station of Darjeeling in the state of West Bengal offers pleasant respite from India’s oppressive summer heat. Indeed, Darjeeling has been a popular hill station since the British established it as an R & R centre for their troops in the mid 19th century. Draw cards include a number of Buddhist monasteries including Ghoom, tea plantations, faded relics from the Raj, colourful markets and trekking possibilities in the surrounding area.

Day 15: Darjeeling

Enjoy a drive to Tiger Hill to catch sunrise over the snowy peaks of Kanchenjunga - the world’s third highest mountain. The rest of your day is at leisure.

Today you shall go on a half day visit to the tea gardens.
