Day 1: Kolkata

Namaste! Welcome to Kolkata, the capital of West Bengal and the start of your eye-opening adventure! Our friendly team will be waiting in the arrivals hall to transfer you to your hotel where you can relax for the rest of the day.

Day 2: Kolkata

The graft of a European city imposed on an Asian landscape lends Kolkata a bewitching blend of colour, charm and excitement. Enjoy a city sights tour this morning including a visit to the imposing Victoria Memorial. Opened by the Prince of Wales in 1921, this vision in marble is often called the “Taj” of the British Raj. We also visit the New Market – a bazaar on Chowringhee Road, the stately Indian Museum founded in 1814 and the oldest and largest in India, St Paul’s Cathedral and the extraordinary Marble Palace which houses paintings by Rubens, Titian and Reynolds. Day 3: Kolkata

Enjoy the day at leisure to explore. No Guide or driver with you.

Day 4: Kolkata - Varanasi

Morning is at your leisure to further explore the city. Later, we set off to the airport for your flight to Varanasi - 9W 2893, 1630/1820 - Arriving here, you will see our driver waiting to bring your to your hotel. This evening we will take you to see the ritual ceremony that takes place on the riverside in worship of the Sacred River Ganges.

Day 5: Varanasi

Abundant with temples and a labyrinth of streets, Varanasi is exciting, enticing and a city not to be missed. Early this morning we enjoy a boat ride on the River Ganges to view the sunrise and the ancient religious tradition of ritual cleansing that takes place on the ghats (riverside steps). Enjoy a tour of the city, with its numerous temples and wonderful historic feel; with time later to relax.

Day 6: Varanasi - Lucknow

Today we have around 6 hours on the road driving to Lucknow. Along the way we will explore the city of Allahabad which has the oldest university in India. Arriving into Lucknow, we check into the hotel and no arrangements therein for the evening.

Day 7: Lucknow

Today with your guide you will spend visiting the many interesting places in this wonderful and historic city highlights will depend on your interest Bara Imambara, The British Residency of Lucknow, Chattar Manzil, Jama Masjid, Rumi Darwaza, Clock Tower, Moti Mahal, Lakshmana Tila and Hussainabad Imambara and more depending on level of interest and preference.

Day 8: Lucknow

Spend the day exploring Lucknow at your leisure. The car is at your disposal for use today, No Guide.

Day 9: Lucknow - Agra

Spend the day exploring Lucknow at your leisure. The car is at your disposal for use today, No Guide. Later, you will be brought to the station and assisted with embarking the LJN AGC Intercity, 1555/2155, AC Chair Car to Agra. Arriving here you will be transferred to your hotel. 04 people arrive Delhi, meet our team and drive to Agra to join Mr & Mrs Perton.

Day 10: Agra

This morning enjoy a sunrise guided tour of the incredible Taj Mahal. The day is at your leisure to explore with car at your disposal for use, no guide.

Day 11: Agra - Gwalior

The entire family today drives to Gwalior. Arriving here, the remainder of today is at leisure.

Day 12: Gwalior

This morning we enjoy a guided tour of Gwalior's huge fort that was constructed in the 15th century, a vast complex that encompasses several interesting temples, ruined palaces after we visit the deserted Man Singh Palace and its subterranean rooms is a definite highlight, as is learning from your guide about the innovative 15th century design features. Remainder of the day at leisure to explore.

Day 13: Gwalior - Jaipur

Today we make our way to Jaipur - the drive will take around 7-8 hours and is a long day, where possible stops will be made to stretch legs and grab refreshments. (OVERNIGHT HARI MAHAL SELF CATERING APARTMENT)

Day 14: Jaipur

Happy Birthday Mr Perton! Today an exotic elephant ride transports us to the lofty 16th century Amber Fort on our morning tour. Remainder of the day at leisure to celebrate in your own time. Return transfers to and from a dinner venue of your choice is included. (OVERNIGHT HARI MAHAL SELF CATERING APARTMENT)

Day 15: Jaipur

Today is at your leisure to explore in your own time, the car and driver are at your disposal, no guide with you. (OVERNIGHT HARI MAHAL SELF CATERING APARTMENT)

Day 16: Jaipur

Today we head out of the city to visit the small town of Tonk, this overlooked little town is bursting at the seams with Old Havelis (mansions) Palaces and Mosques. A particular highlight is The Sunehri Kothi which is one of the best preserved Havelis in the country! This afternoon, we have arranged a cooking session at a family home which will introduce you to delicious Rajasthani and Indian delights, highlighting the local flavours and styles of cooking, You will learn about the special ingredients, where they come from and how they are used. Day 17: Jaipur - Jodhpur

4 people - the journey has concluded you will be driven to Delhi Airport in time for your flight home (Note Delhi is around 6 hours driver from here, bear this in mind when booking flights) Mr & Mrs Perton - We will drive to Jodhpur, arrival and check into your hotel.

Day 18: Jodhpur

Today we will enjoy a full day touring in this colourful Rajasthani city, taking in the mighty fort and bazaars of the old city which are gathered around the city’s tall clock tower.

Day 19: Jodhpur - Narlai

Today the driver will take you on a drive through stunning rural India to Narlai. Along the way we can make stops at quaint villages to take photos and meet the locals.

Day 20: Narlai

Narlai is a wonderful little village that you can explore today at your leisure. Your hotel is an ancient hunting lodge which has renovated to be a fantastic historic hotel.

Day 21: Narlai - Udaipur

This morning we drive to Kumbalgarh fort where you have time to explore at leisure without a guide. Afterwards, continue to Udaipur.

Day 22: Udaipur

This morning will consist of an orientation and sightseeing tour of Udaipur - including the incredible City Palace and museum - before having a few hours in the afternoon to explore for yourselves. Later, we head to the Monsoon Palace where you have incredible views of the lake and city down below.

Day 23: Udaipur - Delhi

We set off to Udaipur Airport for your 9W 2634, 0745/0915 flight to Delhi. Arriving in Delhi, meet our head office team who will bring you to your hotel.

Day 24: Delhi

Today enjoy sightseeing of Delhi both new and old with visits to the battlemented Red Fort - built by Shah Jahan in the 16th century, Jama Masjid - India’s oldest and largest mosque, Raj Ghat - a marble memorial marking the spot where the great leader- Mahatma Gandhi was cremated after his assassination. We also visit Humayun’s Tomb and India's largest mosque, Qutab Minar.

Day 25: Delhi

Your car and driver are at disposal today for exploring the big city. No Guide will be with you.

Sadly your journey has come to an end, we will transfer you to the airport in time for your flight home.
