Day 1: Delhi

Welcome to India. Upon arrival you will me met by our local representatives and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight Delhi.

Day 2: Delhi

This morning enjoy a half day sightseeing tour of old Delhi where you will visit Jama Mosque, Red Fort, and take a rickshaw ride in the bylanes of the old city. Day 3: Delhi - Agra

Enjoy a nice sleep in as you spend the morning at your own leisure. Later this afternoon you will travel by road to Agra home of the Mighty Taj Mahal. Upon arrival you will check into your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight Agra.

Day 4: Agra

After breakfast we head out to view the magnificent Taj Mahal. Enjoy your own time to explore and a guided tour of this once powerful Moghul emperor’s monument to love. Later we visit Agra fort built under the Mughal Emperor Akbar in 1565 that contains numerous palaces and a white marble mosque and the Baby Taj. This afternoon take an excursion to Mathura / Vrindavan. Overnight Agra.

Day 5: Agra - Jaipur

Saying good bye to Agra you will travel by road to the Pink City Jaipur. Enroute visit to the deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri where you can explore the Ruined city, Abundant City Palace, Mosque, Administrative Lay out including entrances & guide. Afterwards continue onto Jaipur, upon arrival check into your hotel and enjoy the evening at your leisure. Overnight Jaipur.

Day 6: Jaipur

This morning we visit the delicate pink, magnificent fort-palace of Amber - a wonderful example of Rajput architecture just north of Jaipur. Subject to Government regulations, we will arrive in style riding on an elephant! Enjoy the afternoon at your leisure. Day 7: Jaipur - Udaipur

A full day of driving awaits you today as you travel from the Pink City to the City of Udaipur. Upon arrival you enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Alternatley ride instyle onboard a train instead of driving for a small supplement. Overnight Udaipur.

Day 8: Udaipur

This morning enjoy touring the imposing City Palace, a vision in soft yellow stone on the northeast promontory with breathtaking views of the lake. The City Palace is the largest palace complex in Rajasthan. We then take you to visit Jagdish Temple and Sahelion ki bari. This afternoon you will visit the Eklingji and Nagda Temples where faithful pilgrims visit the temple on Monday to seek the special blessings of Lord Shiva. Overnight Udaipur.

Day 9: Udaipur - Kochi

Unfortunatelly there is no direct flight from Udaipur – Kochi so we have no option left but to take flight via Mumbai. So this morning you will be by our local representatives and transferred to the airport in time for your flight. Upon arrival into Kochi you will be met by our local representatives and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the afternoon at your leisure. Overnight Kochi.

Day 10: Kochi

The touring today includes the visit to Dutch Palace built by the Portuguese for a local King in 1555 A.D. The famous Jew Street, a cul-de-sac leading to the beautiful Parsi Synagogue built in 1568. A walking tour of Fort Cochin will take you through the streets still graced with traces of Portuguese, Dutch & British colonial architecture. This evening you are in for a cultural treat as you enjoy kathakali dance performance performed by local artists. Overnight Kochi.

Day 11: Kochi - Periyar NP

Today you venture to the world famous Periyar National park. Periyar is south India’s most popular wildlife sanctuary and home to sambar wild boar, elephant, bison, antelope, langur and a small tiger population. Kumily, close to the sanctuary and where you’ll stay, is a pretty town dotted with small spice and handicraft shops. This afternoon you will get the Spice Plantations that Indian food is famous for. Day 12: Periyar NP

Enjoy a morning Trek into the wild life sanctuary. This afternoon you will enjoy a tranquil boat ride, drift silently along the water's of Lake Periyar, spotting wild elephent herds and many of the varied wildlife the park has to offer. This afternoon we enjoy a walking tour of the spice plantations. Overnight Periyar NP.


Day 13: Periyar NP - Kumarakom

Travel by road from Periyar to Kumarakom. Upon arrival enjoy the afternoon at your leisure. Overnight Kumarakom.

Day 14: Kumarakom

Today you will visit Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary an ornithologist's paradise and a favourite haunt of migratory birds. Where you may catch glimpses of waterfowl, cuckoo, owl, egret, heron, cormorant, moorhen, darter, Brahminy kite and the duck, and if you are lucky you might get to see the migratory Siberian crane. Overnight Kumarakom.

Days 15-17: Kumarakom - Kovalam

Travel by road from Kumarakom to Kovalam where for the next couple of days at leisure where you can sit back and relax and take them at your own space. Overnight Kovalam.
