Day 1: Kochi

Welcome to India and the start of your Indian adventure. You will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel - the remainder of the time will be at leisure,

Day 2: Kochi

After breakfast we will embark on a day tour of this fascinating city - The city of Kochi perfectly reflects the eclecticism of the state of Kerala. Here in historical Kochi, one can see winding streets with mosques, a 16th century Jewish synagogue, 500-year old Portuguese cottages, old churches and a palace built by the Portuguese and later renovated by in the Flemish style by the Dutch. Long famed in the history books, Kochi (formerly known as Cochin) offered refuge to Jews more than 2,500 years ago.

Day 3: Kochi - Alleppey

This morning we transfer to Alleppey - Later this afternoon, we board a simply furnished private rice-boat for a journey through the lush backwaters. Our private rice-boat takes us sedately along the enchanting palm-fringed backwaters, covering a distance of some 20 kms, during which time the boat glides past local villages and interesting scenes of everyday rural life. Watch a beautiful sunset over the backwaters and enjoy tasty meals (starting with a late lunch) prepared by the onboard chef using fresh local produce.

Day 4: Alleppey - Kumarakom

After breakfast we disembark the houseboat at Kumarakom. Perched sleepily amongst a tangle of verdant tropical waterways, the area is known as the Keralan backwaters. We spend a day of rest here where you can take up some Ayurvedic and spa traeatments.

Day 5: Kumarakom - Mararikulam

This morning we drive to Marari beach where the next few days you are free to relax and enjoy some time using the hotels facilities or maybe soak up some rays on the beach.

Days 6-7: Mararikulam

Next few days are at leisure.

Day 8: Mararikulam - Goa

Today we transfer to the airport for your onward flight to Goa. Upon arrival here you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

Days 9-13: Goa

The remaining few days are at your leisure.

Day 14: Goa - Jaipur

This morning after breakfast we will transfer you to the airport for your onward flight to Jaipur. Upon arrival you are transferred to your hotel and have the remainder of the day at leisure.

Day 15: Jaipur

Maybe opt for an early morning balloon flight over Jaipur (see enhancements page). Look out for the snake charmers that dot our route, as we travel to the 16th century Amber Fort. An exotic elephant ride transports us to the lofty fort, where we’ll enjoy a tour. Later in the afternoon we tour the City Palace, which boasts an interesting museum of regal attire and Jantar Mantar, an ancient astronomical observatory.

Day 16: Jaipur - Agra

This morning we transfer to the train station for your onward train to Agra - upon arrival you are met and transferred to your hotel, later we will take you to visit the beautiful Taj Mahal.

Day 17: Agra

we visit Fatehpur Sikri, former imperial capital of the great Mughal emperor Akbar. Built between 1569 and 1585, it has been deserted for more than four centuries, by all accounts abandoned in 1600 due to a meagre supply of water. In Agra, we visit the impressive Agra Fort.

Day 18: Agra - Delhi

This morning after breakfast we transfer to the train station for the train to Delhi. Upon arrival you will be met at your seats and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day you have at leisure.

Day 19: Delhi

Today you have a full day of touring of Old Delhi - Includes visit to Red Fort, Jama Masjid, rickshaw ride in Chandni chowk area, Rajghat- cremation place of Mahatma Gandhi. The afternoon you are free at leisure.

Day 20: Delhi

Today we have a tour of New Delhi which includes Includes visit to Qutub Minar, Humayuns tomb, India Gate and Lutyens Delhi. Afternoon at leisure.

Day 21: Delhi

Today is the end of your Indian adventure. We will transfer you back to the airport for your onward flight home.
