Day 1: Varanasi
Welcome to India and the start of your holiday! Arrive Varanasi, included transfer to hotel. Hotel check in time 14:00. This afternoon, we visit the River Ganges to attend the evening pilgrimage.
Day 2: Varanasi
This morning, we enjoy a sunrise boat ride on the holy Ganges where we’ll view the ancient religious tradition of ritual cleansing that takes place on the many riverbank ghats (riverside steps). Afterwoods, enjoy a city tour including Bharat Mata Temple and Hindu University. This afternoon, we visit Sarnath, the site where Bhuddha gave his first sermon.
Day 4: Bodhgaya
Today, we enjoy a guided tour of Bodhgaha including Maha Bodhi Temple, Bodhi Treee, Sujatha Temple and Buddha Statue.
Day 5: Bodhgaya - Kushinagar
We have a long drive today, our journey to Kushinagar is roughly 9 hours.
Day 6: Kushinagar - Lumbini
This morning, we enjoy guided tour of Kushinagar including Mahapari Nirvana Temple, Museum and Ramabhar Stupa. This afternoon, we leave Kushinagar heading for Lumbini which will take us roughly 5 hours.
Day 7: Lumbini - Varanasi
This morning we visit the birth place of Lord Bhuddha and surrounding Monesteries and Maya Davi Temple before driving roughly 8 hours back to Varanasi.
