Namaste! Welcome to India and New Delhi the capital city of India. We will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel with the rest of the day yours to relax after your long flight.
Today we explore both Old and New Delhi - the order of New Delhi is a huge contrast to the unorganised chaos of the Old City. But both are just as appealing. Highlights we be the impressive Red Fort, Jama Masjid - India’s oldest and largest mosque, Raj Ghat - the site of Gandhi’s cremation and more.
We drive to Agra, home of the legendary Taj Mahal, constructed entirely of white marble and inlaid with semi-precious stones, the Taj Mahal has no peer and has been described as the most extravagant monument ever built for love. OUr sightseeing starts with the Taj Mahal. Later a visit to Agra fort, behind its colossal walls are some of the finest Mughal buildings in India.
Today we rise early to see the Taj Mahal in its ethereal morning light - quite a contrast to sunset on our previous visit. We will take you to the train station for the train to Jhansi, where on arrival we will meet you and take the drive to Khajuraho - en-route stopping in Orcha to explore the well preserved complex of palaces and temples it is famous for.
In the morning enjoy a sightseeing tour of the Chandela Dynasty temples built between 950-1050 AD. Immortalised in stone, the carved temples depict Indian life a millennium ago, including erotic scenes from the Kama Sutra. Later later we transfer to the airport for our 13:55 flight to Varanasi arriving at 14:55 we transfer to your hotel. Varanasi is magic there is a myriad of temples and interesting ghats to venture out and see. At sunset why not consider visiting the river bank for the evening pilgramage, remarkably different from the dawn ritual that you will see tomorrow.
This morning, we enjoy a sunrise boat ride on the holy Ganges where we’ll view the ancient religious tradition of ritual cleansing that takes place on the many riverbank ghats (riverside steps). Later in the afternoon we will take you on a guided sightseeing tour of the city and to visit the famous Buddhist holy sight of Sarnath. Sarnath is located at 10 Kms from Varanasi where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon to the five holy men; preaching the middleway to final 'NIRVANA’.
Today we will drive you to Lumbini - approximately 7-8 hours. On arrival we will check you into the hotel.
We will take you on a city tour this morning. Leaving Lumbini, we drive to Royal Chitwan National Park. Widely acknowledged as one of the finest National Parks in Asia, Chitwan supports a population of a variety of species including Indian one horned rhino, bison, sloth bear, wild boar, deer, leopard and of course the magnificent, if elusive, Bengal tiger.

This morning and evening we enjoy elephant back safari on the hunt to sight some of the many species of wildlife in the park.
Today we drive to Pokhara. Perhaps the most stunning of Pokhara’s sights is the spectacular backdrop panorama of the Annapurna range. Although the highest among them is Annapurna (8091m), it is the fish tailed summit of Machhapuchhre (6977m) spectacularly rising behind Lake Phewa that completes the vista.
This morning we trek to visit the World peace stupa. This afternoon enjoy a tranquil boat ride on Lake Phew. remainder of the day free time to explore at leisure.
Today we drive to Kathmandhu. Kathmandu is Nepal’s biggest and most cosmopolitan city, a meeting place of a dozen ethnic groups and once one of the most important points on the caravan routes between Tibet and India. We will take you a city tour of Kathmandu, which will include Swayambhunath, Kastha Mandap and Kumari Devi.
This morning you take to skies for a scenic flight to see Mt Everest. Arriving back in Kathmandu we drive to 45 mins to Bhaktapur, here you will have time to explore this beautiful city that since time immemorial has been on the trade routes between India and China. This afternoon we visit the ancient capital of Patan and the nearby Tibetan Handicarfts centre.
Today we head to the ancient Capital - Bodhnath. The stupa is one of the seven world heritage sites all over the Kathmandu valley. This colossal and ancient Stupa, one of the biggest in the world, features all the eyes of Lord Buddha. Enjoy a full day at this spirtual site before heading back to your hotel this evening.
