Day 1: Delhi

Namaste! Welcome to India and New Delhi the capital city of India. We will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel with the rest of the day yours to relax after your long flight.

Day 2: Delhi

Today we explore both Old and New Delhi - the order of New Delhi is a huge contrast to the unorganised chaos of the Old City. But both are just as appealing. Highlights we be the impressive Red Fort, Jama Masjid - India’s oldest and largest mosque, Raj Ghat - the site of Gandhi’s cremation and more.

Day 3: Delhi - Agra

Departing Delhi, we journey by road to Agra, once India’s Mughal capital. Arriving, we visit Agra fort, which boasts some of India’s finest Mughal buildings behind it’s fortified walls. During its history it has been a palace, a fort and a prison!

Day 4: Agra - Jaipur

This morning rise early to watch the sunrise at the Taj Mahal followed by an in-depth guided tour of the site. After breakfast at the hotel we drive to Jaipur first we stop to visit the fantastically well preserved former Mughal city of Fatehpur Sikri. Arriving into Jaipur check in and enjoy the afternoon at leisure.

Day 5: Jaipur

Early today, we travel beyond Jaipur to the stunning 16th century Amber Fort - a sprawling Rajput concoction which hugs the hill on which it was built and overlooks the hot plains below we enjoy a guided tour and elephant ride. Enjoy a tour of the City Palace containing an interesting museum of regal attire. Just over the road we visit Jantar Mantar, an observatory of astronomy built by Jai Singh in 1728.

Day 6: Jaipur - Pushkar

This morning we board the train to Ajmer and then drive onto Pushkar! Arriving there check into your hotel. Driver and guide with you to take you out to see the fair.

Day 8: Pushkar - Manvar

For a special treat we drive out to the desert camp of Manvar – literally in the middle of nowhere. Mop the sweat off your brow and hope for an imminent oasis as we trek by camel over dusty desert dunes. Safely back at camp under stars of the expansive night sky, we light a bonfire over dinner to the sounds of local musicians.

Day 9: Manvar - Delhi

Morning enjoy sunrise in the desert. We then drive to Jodhpur and explore with guide this charming Rajasthani city including the mighty Meherangarh fort and lively textile bazaars set around the old towns’ clock tower then transfer to the airport for your flight at 04:10 PM to Delhi which arrives at 07:20 PM. We then transfer you to an airport area hotel.

Day 10: Delhi

We bid you farewell with a transfer to the airport in time for your flight home.
