Day 1: Goa
Welcome to India! On arrival we will meet you and transfer you to your hotel. Option 1:- Goa Hotels Listed Option 2:-Arrive Trivandrum in Kerala transfer to your hotel in Kovalam Travencore Heritage Hotel.
Days 2-10: Goa
Sit back and relax here in this laid back coastal area of India, walk along palm fringed beaches looking for shells and watching the fishermen at work, or simply kick back.
Day 11: Goa - Delhi
This morning included transfer for your flight to Delhi. Arrival transfer arrival and check into your hotel.
Day 12: Delhi
Today we explore both Old and New Delhi - the order of New Delhi is a huge contrast to the unorganised chaos of the Old City. But both are just as appealing. Highlights we be the impressive Red Fort, Jama Masjid - India’s oldest and largest mosque, Raj Ghat - the site of Gandhi’s cremation and more.
Day 13: Delhi - Jaisalmer
Free morning. This afternoon/evening we transfer to the train station for sleeper train to Jaisalmer 14659 - New Delh- Jsl express - 1730 / 1100+1.
Day 14: Jaisalmer
Welcome to Jaisalmer. On arrival we will meet you and transfer you to your hotel. Remainder of the day at leisure to explore and relax.
Day 15: Jaisalmer
During our stay today in this stunning Rajasthani fortress town we’ll enjoy some touring during the day. This evening enjoy New Year festivities all around you.
Day 16: Jaisalmer - Manvar
For a special treat we drive to the desert camp of Manvar – literally in the middle of nowhere. Mop the sweat off your brow and hope for an imminent oasis as we trek by camel over dusty desert dunes. Safely back at camp under stars of the expansive night sky, we light a bonfire over dinner to the sounds of local musicians.
Day 17: Manvar - Jodhpur
After breakfast proceed to Jodhpur the 'Sun City' of Rajasthan. Jodhpur is a popular tourist destination,featuring many beautiful palaces, Forts and temples,apart from a stark, scenic desert landscape. Arrive Jodhpur and enjoy a visit to The Umaid Bhawan palace Museum, Mehrangarh Fort & Jaswant Thada.
Day 18: Jodhpur - Jaipur
After breakfast proceed to Jaipur the 'Pink City' of Rajasthan. En route visit Pushkar the 'Holy City' of Rajasthan - Brahma Temple - this is said to be only Brahma temple in the world. Also we stop and visit Ajmer Sharif Dargah time for lunch. Then continue on and arrive Jaipur. Evening free at leisure.
Day 19: Jaipur
Look out for the snake charmers that dot our route, as we travel to the 16th century Amber Fort. An exotic elephant ride transports us to the lofty fort, where we’ll enjoy a tour of this Rajput extravaganza. Later in the afternoon we tour the City Palace, which boasts an interesting museum of regal attire and Jantar Mantar, an ancient astronomical observatory.
Day 21: Jaipur - Agra
En route to Agra, we visit Fatehpur Sikri, former imperial capital of the great Mughal emperor Akbar. Built between 1569 and 1585, it has been deserted for more than four centuries, by all accounts abandoned in 1600 due to a meagre supply of water. In Agra, we visit the impressive Agra Fort before touring the legendary Taj Mahal and witnessing a glorious golden sunset.
