Welcome to India! After your have cleared customs and pssport control we will transfer your directly to the hotel to check-in and freshen up. We will also have a chat with you tonight to help you prepare for our time with us.
Today we explore both Old and New Delhi - the order of New Delhi is a huge contrast to the unorganised chaos of the Old City. But both are just as appealing. Taking in the impressive Red Fort, Jama Masjid - India’s oldest and largest mosque, Raj Ghat - the site of Gandhi’s cremation and more.
An early morning start we will drive to Agra - home of India's famous attraction - the Taj Mahal. Upon arrival we will check into your hotel and this afternoon, enjoy a city tour including the impressive Agra Fort and a sunset visit to the Taj Mahal.
This morning early we will revisit the Taj Mahal for sunrise. We will then take a drive out to the ghostly fortifed city of Fatehpur Sikri, abandonded only 8 years after its construction due to droughts in the area. Continiuing on you will arrive in Jaipur 'The Pink City' in the afternoon.
Look out for the snake charmers that dot our route as we travel to the 16th century Amber Fort. An exotic elephant ride transports us to the lofty fort, where you will enjoy a tour of this Rajput extravaganza. Later in the afternoon you tour the City Palace, which boasts an interesting museum of regal attire and visit Jantar Mantar, an ancient astronomical observatory.
We will drive you through to Jodhpur today and transfer you to the hotel. You will have a half day city tour.
Today we will drive you through to Manvar. We will have lunch at Manvar Resort and then transfer into jeeps for the drive out to Manvar Camp (camel ride and jeep safari included).
We will drive you to Jodhpur airport for the flight to Delhi, 9W 722 departing at 15:30 and arriving at 16:40. On arrival you will have a car and driver at your disposal for dinner (dinner not included). We will then transfer you later to the airport for your departure flight at 01:45 on 19 January (check in is 3 hours prior to the departure).
