Day 1: Delhi

Namaste! Welcome to India and New Delhi the capital city of India. We will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel with the rest of the day yours to relax after your long flight.

Day 2: Delhi

This morning meet your guide to enjoy a full day sightseeing tour of Delhi, taking in the impressive Red Fort, Jama Masjid - India’s oldest and largest mosque, Raj Ghat - the site of Gandhi’s cremation and more. Evening at leisure.

Day 3: Delhi - Agra

Departing Delhi, we journey to Agra, once India’s Mughal capital. Here, we take a motorised buggy to the legendary Taj Mahal. Built entirely of white marble, the Taj Mahal has no peers. Continuing, we visit Agra fort, which boasts some of India’s finest Mughal buildings behind it’s fortified walls

Day 4: Agra - Jaipur

En route to Jaipur, we visit the ghostly former Mughal city of Fatehpur Sikri, abandoned due to lack of water. We enjoy lunch at Udai Vilas Palace in Bharatpur, before taking a walk through the nearby rural village Peharsar. Arrive Jaipur and check into your hotel. Evening at leisure.

Day 5: Jaipur

Look out for the snake charmers that dot our route, as we travel to the 16th century Amber Fort. An exotic elephant ride transports us to the lofty fort, where we’ll enjoy a tour of this Rajput extravaganza. Later in the afternoon we tour the City Palace, which boasts an interesting museum of regal attire and Jantar Mantar, an ancient astronomical observatory.

Day 6: Jaipur - Mandawa

Today, we drive to the semi-desert Shekhawati region. The small towns in this region became important trading posts, a lasting legacy of which are the beautiful painted havelis (mansions) constructed by wealthy merchants in the 18th and 19th centuries. Afternoon village walk and time to relax.

Day 7: Mandawa - Delhi

Returning to Delhi, the latter part of the afternoon is free for you to relax or independently explore more of Delhi.

Day 8: Delhi - Kochi

Today you catch an early morning flight to Kochi today in the beautiful southern state of Kerala. This afternoon enjoy a tour of the town including the beautiful Parsi Synagogue. A walking tour of Fort Cochin takes you through streets still graced with traces of Portuguese, Dutch and British colonial architecture. This evening we watch a Kathakali performance Kathakali is the fascinating traditional dance form of Kerala.

Day 9: Kochi - Munnar

A drive east to to Munnar - a quaint hill station nestled on the verdant slopes of tea plantations, that exudes a rare old world charm and reminds one of the days of the Raj in its elegant splendour. At a height of 1525 metres, Munnar offers breathtaking views of the surrounding hills.

Day 10: Munnar

Today we visit a local Tea Estate - for which the region is reknowned for! We also visit the nearby Eravikulam National Park before returning to Munnar.

Day 11: Munnar - Periyar NP

A short drive south to Periyar, South India’s most popular wildlife sanctuary and home to bison, antelopes, sambar, wild boar, birds and even the odd tiger! Arrival and check into your accommodations. There are plenty of optional activities you can book and pay for locally such as Nature Walks, Boat ride etc

Day 12: Periyar NP

There are plenty of optional activities you can book and pay for locally such as Nature Walks, Boat ride etc

Day 13: Periyar NP - Kumarakom

A drive to Kumarakom. Perched sleepily on the eastern banks of the mighty Lake Vembanad in the heartland of Kerala’s famed backwaters, Kumarakom has changed little since the Middle Ages but for it’s string of exotic resorts, making it the perfect point to explore the backwaters.

Day 14: Kumarakom

This is an ideal place to chill-out for a few days. There is also a wonderful bird sanctuary, winter home to many migratory birds which is worth a visit.

Day 15: Kumarakom - Alleppey

This morning embark your houseboat in Kumarakom and then you make' the journey through the backwaters to Alleppey.

Day 16: Alleppey - Mararikulam

When you arrive into Alleppey we will transfer you to your secluded beach hotel in Mararikulam.

Days 17-20: Mararikulam

Enjoy the next few days to relax and unwind.

We will transfer you to Kochi airport in time for your flight home.
