Day 1: Jaipur
Welcome to India - Arrival in Jaipur airport onward transfer to your hotel - check into your hotel. Evening at leisure.
Day 2: Jaipur
This morning, we travel beyond Jaipur to the 16th century Amber Fort. An exotic elephant ride transports us to the lofty fort, where we’ll enjoy a tour of this Rajput extravaganza. Why not bolt on an early morning amazing hot air balloon ride? Later in the afternoon we tour the City Palace, which boasts an interesting museum of regal attire and Jantar Mantar, an ancient astronomical observatory.
Day 3: Jaipur - Jodhpur
An interesting drive through increasingly varied scenery takes us to Jodhpur, a town at the edge of the mighty Thar Desert. Dominated by Meherangarh Fort which sits majestically atop a hill, Jodhpur is known as the Blue City. This is because of the coloured houses in the old town, painted indigo. We’ll enjoy some touring in this colourful Rajasthani city, taking in the mighty fort and bazaars of the old city which are gathered around the city’s tall clock tower.
Day 4: Jodhpur - Mt Abu
Leaving Jodhpur, we drive to Ranakpur, a small town tucked away in a remote valley and famed for its beautiful 14th century Jain temples. We’ll enjoy some free time for exploration before driving onto Mt Abu.
Day 5: Mt Abu - Udaipur
Spend the day in Mt Abu st leisure with time to see the historic buildings and go for a wander in the surrounding countryside. We then drive you to Udaipur.
Day 6: Udaipur
Today we’ll enjoy a cruise on Lake Pichola in a private boat, plus touring of the imposing City Palace, not to mention free time to explore and perhaps shop for colourful Rajasthani souvenirs and Indian spices.
Day 7: Udaipur
Enjoy a full day excursion with guide to Chittaugarh. Highlights of the day will include Chittorgarh Fort, Rana Kumbha Palace, Padmini's Palace and time to check out the markets. Return transfer back to your Udaipur hotel.
Day 8: Udaipur
This morning a transfer to the airport for your flight to Goa Via Mumbai. Arriving into Goa we will transfer you to your own booked hotel. End of our arrangements. (Flight schedule:-S2 3502 - 0850 / 1035 -/- S2 3403 - 1305 / 1405)
