Day 1: Mumbai

Namaste! Welcome to India and the start of your trip with us. We will be there at the airport to meet you and transfer you to your hotel in Mumbai.

Day 2: Mumbai

This morning after breakfast we take the cruise to visit Elephanta caves - Mumbai's premier tourist attraction. The rock-cut temples on peaceful Elephanta Island are thought to have been carved between 450 and 750 AD. The main cave contains large sculpted panels, including an astonishing 18-foot depiction of Shiva. Enjoy an afternoon sightseeing tour one of the most highly populated cities in the world, accommodating approximately 18 million people! Highlights include the Prince of Wales Museum, Gateway of India and Marine drive.

Day 3: Mumbai

Day at leisure to explore the city on your own.

Day 4: Mumbai - Udaipur

This morning we will take you to the airport for your flight to Udaipur. Here is an oasis of cool, with its massive lake and Venetian-like appearance. Udaipur is one of the most romantic towns in Rajasthan. A favourite amongst travellers, Udaipur is crammed full of palaces and temples.

Day 5: Udaipur

This morning enjoy touring the imposing City Palace, a vision in soft yellow stone on the northeast promontory with breathtaking views of the lake. The City Palace is the largest palace complex in Rajasthan. We then take you to visit Jagdish Temple and Sahelion ki bari. You will have free time to explore on your own or perhaps shop for colourful Rajasthani arts and crafts before enjoying an evening boat ride on Lake Pichola.

Day 6: Udaipur

Day at leisure to explore the city on your own.

Day 7: Udaipur - Mt Abu

After a leisurely breakfast we transfer you to Mount Abu, the only hill station in Rajasthan, where you will spend the next two nights.

Day 8: Mt Abu

Enjoy a half day tour of Mt. Abu, known for its Delwara Jain temples and natural beauty. Situated amidst lush green forested hills on the highest peak in the Aravali range, Mt. Abu is also the summer capital for the Indian state of Rajasthan Home to lakes, waterfalls and green forests, the hill retreat has a very cool and soothing climate thanks to its rich flora covering the entire hillside that includes coniferous trees and flowering shrubs.

Day 9: Mt Abu - Jodhpur

We leave Mt. Abu today and make our way to Jodphur. On arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel where the rest of the day can be spent at leisure.

Day 10: Jodhpur

Today you will enjoy some touring in this colourful Rajasthani city, taking in the mighty fort and bazaars of the old city which are gathered around the city’s tall clock tower. This afternoon is at your leisure to enjoy your hotels facilities or further exploration of the city.

Day 11: Jodhpur - Jaipur

This morning we begin our drive to the capital of Rajasthan, Jaipur, affectionately known as the 'Pink City'.

Day 12: Jaipur

This morning we visit the delicate pink, magnificent fort-palace of Amber - a wonderful example of Rajput architecture just north of Jaipur. Subject to Government regulations, we will arrive in style atop an elephant! Enjoy an afternoon sightseeing tour of the city. Rest of the evening is free and at your leisure.

Day 13: Jaipur

Day at leisure to explore the city on your own.

Day 14: Jaipur - Agra

After a relaxing breakfast we will head off to Agra home to of India's most famous monuments - the Taj Mahal. En route we will also pay a visit to the ghostly former Moghul city of Fatehpur Sikri - the fortified ghost city abandoned soon after its construction because of water shortages in the area. Arriving in Agra you will check into your hotel.

Day 15: Agra

After breakfast we head out to view the magnificent Taj Mahal. Enjoy your own time to explore and a guided tour of this once powerful Moghul emperor’s monument to love. Later we visit Agra fort built under the Mughal Emperor Akbar in 1565 that contains numerous palaces and a white marble mosque and the Baby Taj. Remainder of the day is at your leisure.

Day 16: Agra - Delhi

Today we head to India's capital for hotel check in with the remainder of the day free.


Day 17: Delhi

Today we explore both Old and New Delhi. The order of New Delhi is a huge contrast to the unorganised chaos of the Old City but both are just as appealing. Highlights will be the impressive Red Fort, Jama Masjid - India’s oldest and largest mosque, and Raj Ghat - the site of Gandhi’s cremation and more.

Today marks the end of your holiday with us as we transfer you to the airport for your onward flight.
