This morning, our Welcome Meeting takes place. We’ll then enjoy a full day sightseeing tour of Delhi, taking in the impressive Red Fort, Jama Masjid - India’s oldest and largest mosque, Raj Ghat - the site of Gandhi’s cremation and more. Tonight you travel by sleeper train to Bikaner (Departs at 22:25 pm)
Arriving into Bikaner at 10:20 am we will transfer you to your hotel. Afternoon guided walk of the bazaars and interesting artisans located within the city's massive fortified walls.
Today we visit the spectacular Junagarh Fort & museum, built between 1587 and 1593 during the rule of Rai Singh. Afternoon depart by road for Jaisalmer. Arrival and check into your hotel.
Today enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of the city including the sandstone fort which is an imposing sight, towering magnificently over the city. This afternoon we will take you first by car to a village where you meat your camel handlers enjoy a trek into the desert by camel a dinner of traditional foods and folkloric music of Rajastan - Return to your hotel.
An interesting drive through increasingly varied scenery takes us to Jodhpur, a town at the edge of the mighty Thar Desert.
We’ll enjoy some touring in this colourful Rajasthani city, taking in the mighty fort and bazaars of the old city which are gathered around the city’s tall clock tower.
Leaving Jodhpur, we drive to Ranakpur, a small town tucked away in a remote valley and famed for its beautiful 14th century Jain temples. We’ll enjoy some guided exploration here and then transfer to your hotel on Mt Abu.
Free morning to explore Mt Abu - Later transfer on to Udaipur. Arrival and check into your hotel.
This morning enjoy a private boat ride on the lake followed by touring the imposing City Palace, a vision in soft yellow stone on the northeast promontory with breathtaking views of the lake. We then take you to visit Jagdish Temple and Sahelion ki bari followed by a thrilling rickshaw ride in the narrow streets. In the evening we are off to the Monsoon Palace to witness sunset and experience the magic atmosphere at twilight.
Free day to explore Udaipur - This evening we transfer you to the train station for the sleeper train to Jaipur.
Arriving nice and early at 06:00 we will meet you and transfer you to your hotel (guaranteed check in). Later in the afternoon we tour the City Palace, which boasts an interesting museum of regal attire and Jantar Mantar, an ancient astronomical observatory.
This morning, we travel beyond Jaipur to the 16th century Amber Fort. An exotic elephant ride transports us to the lofty fort, where we’ll enjoy a tour and plenty of time to explore. Later we go to Dera Amer on the outside of the city for an Elephant Safari in the country visiting villages and seeing wildlife dinner at Dera Amer return to your hotel.
After breakfast we have a 3-4 hour drive to Ranthambhore National Park. We check-in, freshen up and then venture out for an evening game drive in a shared jeep or canter.
Ranthambhore NP is one of the prime examples of Project Tiger’s conservation efforts in Rajasthan. Today and tomorrow we enjoy both morning and evening game drives in a shared jeep or canter with some time to relax during the day.
Early morning we depart for Agra - Along the way not far from Agra we visit Fahetpur Sikri a city that was abandoned due to a lack of water - Arrival in Agra and we visit Taj Mahal enjoy a guided tour and free time to see the romantic sunset.
This morning we visit Agra fort then return to Delhi - Arrival check into your hotel - Free late afternoon for some shopping in Delhi.
