Day 1: Hyderabad - Trivandrum
Today please make your own way to the airport for your flight to Trivandrum, via Bangalore, e-tickets provided to you (Hyderabad/Bangalore: IC 915 - 0635/0730 & Bangalore/Trivandrum: IC 9090 - 1020/1130). You will be met on arrival into Trivandrum and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure.
Day 2: Trivandrum - Alleppey
This morning we journey by road where you’ll board a traditional Keralan rice boat for a journey through the backwaters in and around Allapuzha (Alleppey). The boat will cross shallow, palm-fringed lakes and cruise along peaceful canals where copra and cashews are loaded onto local boats. The on-board cook will prepare locally-inspired food. Relax, read and catch some sun as the boat plies it’s route.
Day 3: Alleppey - Kochi
After breakfast, you'll disembark from the houseboat and be transferred to Kochi, where we will enjoy an afternoon sightseeing tour of this city. The touring today includes the visit to Dutch Palace built by the Portuguese for a local King in 1555 A.D. The famous Jew Street, a cul-de-sac leading to the beautiful Parsi Synagogue built in 1568.
Day 4: Kochi - Ooty
Today you will be transferred to Ooty where you have the afternoon to explore on your own.
Day 5: Ooty - Mudumalai
Transfer to Ooty station for your toy train ride to Connor. On arrival into Connor you will be met and directly transferred to Masinagudi (part of Mudumala). Here you enjoy an afternoon Jungle visit. Overnight - Jungle Hut.
Day 6: Mudumalai - Mysore
Morning game drive. Afterward you will be transferred to Mysore for a free evening.
Day 7: Mysore - Bangalore
This morning you have a half day sightseeing tour of Mysore before we transfer you to Bangalore. Overnight - Royal Orchid Central
Day 8: Bangalore
Today you will be transferred to Bangalore airport for your flight to Hyderabad (0925/1100).
