Welcome to Mumbai and the start of your Indian Adventure. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred from the airport to your accommodation. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight Mumbai.

Day 2: Mumbai

Enjoy today at your leisure as you explore Mumbai on your own. Overnight Mumbail

Day 3: Mumbai - Chennai

Another wonderful day in Mumbai to relax and enjoy as your explore it Independatly. This evening you will be transferred to the Railway station in time for your departure from Mumbai to Chennai. Tonight spend the night onboard the train. Overnight in the Train.

Day 4: Chennai

Today ride take in the sights of India as it passes you by while you relax on board your train bound for Chennai. Arriving approximatley into Chennai at 19:45 you will be my by our local representatives and transferred to your accommodation. Overnight Chennai.

Day 5: Chennai - Pondicherry

Leaving Chennai you will travel by road to Pondicherry. Though very small, Pondicherry was the largest French colony in India. The city has a long and interesting history of trade and war. Upon arrival check into your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight Pondicherry.

Day 6: Pondicherry

Today partake a half day sightseeing tour of Pondicherry. Today you will visit Auroville Ashram (The ashram is closed from 1200 hrs to 1600 hrs). Since being heavily influence by the French you will visit a French Colony located in the area. Overnight Pondicherry.

Day 7: Pondicherry - Madurai

Returning back to Chennai in time to board your train to Madurai at 13:30. Watch the scenery rush by as your destination gets closer arriving into Madurai around 21:25. Upon arrival you will be met by our local representatives and transferred to your accommodation. Overnight Madurai.

Day 8: Madurai

Madurai is a bustling city jam-packed with rickshawallas, pilgrims and traders and resembling a seemingly continuous bazaar. Madurai is your to enjoy. This morning enjoy a sightseeing tour. Highlights include Thirumalai Nayak Palace, Mariamman Theppakulam,Meenakshi Temple, Local Bazaar and the Taylor market. The rest of the afternoon is free to explore the city further. Overniht Madurai.

Day 9: Madurai - Munnar

Once again taking to road you travel from Madurai to Munnar. This afternoon check into your accommodation. This afternoon you will visit a local Tea Plantation for which the region is renowned for, unfortunately the Tea Museum is closed on Mondays. Overnight Munnar.

Day 10: Munnar

Today gets a little bit wild as you enjoy a full day visit to the Chinnar Wildlife sanctuary by jeep. It is one of twelve Wildlife Sanctuaries among the Protected areas of Kerala. The sanctuaries has 34 species of Mammals here, including many Panthers and Spotted deer, 50 -60 Indian Elephants, Tigers and many more. This evening you will return to Munnar of your overnight. Overnight Munnar.

Day 11: Munnar - Alleppey

Leaving the hills of Munnar you will travel to the water ways of Alleppey. Upon arrival you will board your overnight house boat to enjoy the backwaters of Kerala. Dinner and overnight onboard.

Day 12: Alleppey - Kochi

After breakfast, you'll disembark from the houseboat and be transferred to your hotel in Kochi. This afternoon, enjoy a sightseeing tour of the town including the Synagogue, Dutch Palace and St Francis' Church. Overnight Kochi.

Day 13: Kochi

Today is a time for relaxing as you spend it at your leisure. This evening you are in for a treat as you enjoy a traditional Kathakali dance performance. Overnight Kochi.

Day 14: Kochi - Ooty

Another train another day. An early morning as you transferred to the railway station in time for your departure from Kochi to Coimbatore at approx 09:10. Upon arrival into Coimbatore you will be transferred Ooty where you will spend the next couple of nights. Overnight Ooty.

Day 15: Ooty

This morning enjoy a city tour of Ooty. Also known as Udhagamandalam, Ooty is the "Queen of hill stations" and the capital of Nilgiris district. We also visit a local Tea plantation - for which this region is well known. This afternoon enjoy the toy train from Ooty to Coonoor. You will be on the train for about an hour. Overnight Ooty.

Day 16: Ooty - Mysore

Leaving Ooty you will travel by road to Mysore. Located at the base of the Chamundi Hills, Mysore is second-largest city in the state of Karnataka. Overnight Mysore.

Day 17: Mysore

A full day of sightseeing, including the impressive Maharaja's Palace, the official residence of the former royal family of Mysore. You will also visit Chamundi Hill and for something a little bit different you will visit the Devraja fruit vegetable market where you will get to view some of the local produce. Overnight Mysore.

Day 18: Mysore - Mumbai

For the journey back to Mumbai you will first travel by road to Bangalore in time to board your train to Mumbai departing at 16.05. Overnight on Board the train.

Day 19: Mumbai

Welcome back to Mumbai, arriving mid afternoon you will be met by our local representatives and transferred. The rest of the day is yours to spend your way. Overnight Mumbai.

Days 20-21: Mumbai

Enjoy the next two days at your leisure. Overnight Mumbai.

Sadly your time with us has come an end as you are transferred for the last time to the airport in time for your departure flight to your onward destination.
