The grand entrance into Delhi's famous Red Fort

Day 1: Delhi

Welcome to India and the start of your holiday! You will be met at Delhi International Airport and transferred to your hotel and the rest of the day is at your leisure.

Day 2: Delhi

Today we explore both Old Delhi. Taking in the impressive Red Fort, Jama Masjid - India’s oldest and largest mosque, Raj Ghat - the site of Gandhi’s cremation and more. You can also opt to tour New Delhi -please see enhanced options.

Day 3: Delhi - Shimla

Today morning you will be transferred to the train station where you will board a train to Kalka. Upon arriving in Kalka you will be transferred to Shimla. Shimla is the capital of the state of Himachal Pradesh and remains today a popular resort. Set in the foothills of the Himalayas along a crescent-shaped ridge at an altitude of 2159m, it afforded a resort-like atmosphere for the British, so much so that it became the ‘summer capital’ of British India in 1864.

Day 6: Shimla - Delhi

Toady you will be driven from Shimla to Kalka train station where you board the train to Delhi. Upon arriving in Delhi you will be transferred to your hotel.

Day 7: Delhi - Agra

Today you will be transferred from Delhi to Agra where you shall stay overnight. You will have the opportunity to visit the Taj Mahal and Agra fort. Agra is a medieval city on the banks of the Yamuna River. Founded by Sultan Sikandar Lodi in 1506, it achieved fame as the capital of the Mughal emperors from 1526 to 1658 and remains a major tourist destination thanks to its many splendid Mughal-era buildings, most notably the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort - both of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Day 8: Agra - Jaipur

Today you will drive to Jaipur and en route you have the opportunity to visit Fatehpur Sikri. the UNESCO World Heritage Listed site. Located in what is now Uttar Pradesh was built by the Mughal Emperor Akbar and served as the political capital of India's Mughal Empire under his reign, from 1571 until 1585, when it was abandoned, ostensibly due to lack of water. The tremendously atmospheric complex of monuments and temples, all in a uniform architectural style, includes one of the largest mosques in India, the Jama Masjid.

Day 9: Jaipur

Today morning you will visit the Amber Fort with an opportunity for an elephant ride.

Day 10: Jaipur - Jodhpur

Today you will be transferred to Jodhpur. Jodhpur is the 2nd largest city in the state of Rajasthan in Northern India. Located at the eastern edge of the Thar Desert, Jodhpur was founded in 1459 by Rao Jodha. Jodhpur gave its name to the popular riding trouser that originated here. The city has two popular monikers. The first being ‘Sun City’ due to the frequent bright and sunny weather that the city enjoys. The second and more common being ‘Blue City’ as many of the houses surrounding the Fort are painted blue. Upon arriving at your hotel you can check in and the rest of the day is at your leisure.

Day 11: Jodhpur

Today you will enjoy some touring in this colourful Rajasthani city, taking in the mighty fort and bazaars of the old city which are gathered around the city’s tall clock tower. This afternoon is at your leisure to enjoy your hotels facilities or further exploration of the city.

Day 12: Jodhpur - Udaipur

Today you will head to the romantic city of Udaipur - the very essence of what it is to be in Rajasthan. Upon arrival at our opulent hotel you will have the evening at your lesiure to wander on the shore of Lake Pichola and take in the fresh air of this desert oasis.

Day 13: Udaipur

This morning will consist of an orientation and sightseeing tour of Udaipur - including the City Palace and museum - before having a few hours in the afternoon to explore for yourselves. This evening you will take ride in an private boat on Lake Pichola itself.

Day 14: Udaipur - Goa

This morning you will be transferred to the airport for you onward flight to Goa flying via Mumbai. Upon arriving in Goa you will be transferred to your hotel where you have the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight - Radisson Blu

Days 15-18: Goa

Day 19: Goa - Mumbai

Today you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Mumbai. Upon arriving in Mumbai you will be transferred to your hotel.

Enjoy a half day sightseeing tour one of the most highly populated cities in the world, accommodating approximately 18 million people! Highlights include the Prince of Wales Museum, Gateway of India, Marine drive, Mani Bhavan, Dhobi Talao, the Hanging Gardens and Crawford Market.

Day 21: Mumbai

Today we bid you farewell with a transfer to Mumbai International Airport as you say goodbye to Incredible India!
