Day 1: Mumbai - Delhi

Welcome to India and the start of your holiday! Our On The Go representative will be there to meet you at the airport and transfer you through to your hotel for check in.

Day 2: Delhi - Jaipur

This moring we transfer to the airport for our fight to Jaipur (1015/1130). Upon arrival we are met and transferred to our hotel - a 475 year old palace. This afternoon offers free time to explore this palace at your own leisure. Take a swim in the clear marble and mosaic swimming pool or rejuvenate with a dip in the outdoor Jacuzzi. Laze by the rooftop Infinity pool and catch a breathtaking sunset with the vistas of the Aravalli Range and a brilliantly lit fort as a backdrop. The Spa offers luxurious massage therapies by trained professionals in charming rooms that invite you to forget the world and give in to the power of indulgence. We recommend you pre book spa arrangements. This evening you will enjoy dinner at Dinner Safari at Dera Amer.

Day 3: Jaipur

This morning we enjoy a magical hot air balloon adventure - Sail within a breath of lofty hilltop forts and fine regal palaces. Look down upon sleepy villages waking to the early morning sun. Drift past expansive waterside manors and intricately stone carved temples. We then travel to the 16th century Amber Fort. An exotic elephant ride transports us to the lofty fort, where we’ll enjoy a tour of this Rajput extravaganza. Later in the afternoon we tour the City Palace, which boasts an interesting museum of regal attire and Jantar Mantar, an ancient astronomical observatory. This evening we visit the Raj Mandir Heritage Cinema to watch a Bolly wood Movie.

Day 4: Jaipur - Agra

Early this morning we transfer to the train station to board our train to Bharatpur (0705/0945 Executive A/C Chair Car). Enroute our drive to Agra we explore Fatehpur Sikri a ghostly fortified city, abandoned only 8 years after its construction due to droughts in the area. Arrival Agra for check into our hotel. This evening we visit Agra fort, built under the Mughal Emperor Akbar in 1565. It contains numerous palaces and a white marble mosque, with Itmad-ud-Daulah’s tomb a marble forerunner to the Taj. We also visit the Baby Taj.

Day 5: Agra

Today we rise early to see the Taj Mahal in its ethereal morning light. Enjoy a guided tour with free time to explore this once powerful Moghul emperor’s monument to love. We then drive to Delhi, where upon arrival we will see the impressive Red Fort from the outside, Jama Masjid - India’s oldest and largest mosque, Raj Ghat - the site of Gandhi’s cremation. This evening we transfer to the Bukhara Restaurant for dinner. Sadly after dinner, we bid you farewell with a transfer to Delhi Airport.
