Day 1: Delhi

Welcome to India and the start of your adventure with On the Go Tours. Upon arrival at the international airport in Delhi you will be met by our local representative and transferred to your hotel where the remainder of the day can be spent at leisure.

Day 2: Delhi

Today enjoy a morning half day combined sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi. Visit Qutab Minar, India Gate (War Memorial) Lakshmi Narayan Temple-Modern Hindu Temple, drive past President’s House, Parliament House and Secretariat buildings. Also visit Raj Ghat– the cremations sites of Mahatma Gandhi and drive past Jama Masjid, Red Fort and Chandni Chowk.

Day 3: Delhi - Agra

Departing Delhi this morning we will transfer you to Agra where later you will enjoy guided visit to Agra Fort built under the Mughal Emperor Akbar in 1565. It contains numerous palaces and a white marble mosque, with Itmad-ud-Daulah’s tomb a marble forerunner to the Taj. Continue to the magnificent Taj Mahal. Enjoy your own time to explore and a guided tour of this once powerful Moghul emperor’s monument to love.

Day 4: Agra - Jaipur

This morning we will make our way to Jaipur via the ghostly fortified city of Fatehpur Sikri, abandoned only 8 years after its construction due to droughts in the area. Continuing on you will arrive in to Jaipur 'The Pink City'. In the afternoon enjoy some free time to relax.

Day 5: Jaipur - Mumbai

This morning we visit the delicate pink, magnificent fort-palace of Amber - a wonderful example of Rajput architecture just north of Jaipur. Subject to Government regulations, we will arrive in style riding on an elephant! We then enjoy a city tour including the City Palace, which boasts an interesting museum of regal attire, and Jantar Mantar, an ancient astronomical observatory. Later this afternoon you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Mumbai. Hotel transfer upon arrival.

Day 6: Mumbai

After breakfast visit the Gateway of India, Mumbai's principle landmark. Drive pass the Secretariat of Maharashtra Government and along Marine Drive. You'll also visit Mani Bhavan where Mahatma Gandhi stayed during his visits to Mumbai, and drive past the Victoria Terminus, the principal railway station of Mumbai. At the Church gate station see the Dabbawala’s- a unique tiffin delivery service run by over 5000 semi-skilled workers delivering lunch to corporate executives from their homes. Visit the 'Dhobi Ghat', an open laundry where Mumbai's 'dirties' are scrubbed, bashed, dyed and hung out to dry, and the ISKON Temple devoted to Lord Krishna in time for the noon aarti. Continue to the colourful Crawford market and Flora fountain in the heart of the city.

Day 7: Mumbai - Goa

Today you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Goa. Upon arrival transfer to your hotel where the remainder of the day can be spent at leisure.

Day 8: Goa

Today enjoy a sightseeing tour starting at the slopes of Altinho Hill for a breathtaking view of Panjim and river Mandovi. Continue to Donapaula for a view of India's largest natural harbour, Marmgoa. Proceed to Old Goa visiting Basillica of Bom Jesus where is enshrined the body of St. Francis Xavier in a silver ornate casket. Then to St. Cathedra, the biggest church in the East and St. Cajetan built like St. Peters (Rome), Church of Lady Rosary and St. Monica.

Day 9: Goa

Day at leisure. Sit back and relax here in this laid back coastal area of India, walk along palm fringed beaches looking for shells and watching the fishermen at work, or simply kick back and enjoy some fresh fruit cocktails served on a silver platter.

Day 10: Goa - Puttaparthi

Today you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Bangalore. Upon arrival you will then be transferred by road to Puttaparthi for hotel check in.

Day 11: Puttaparthi - Kochi

This morning we travel back to Bangalore by road for your flight to Kochi. Upon arrival transfer to your hotel.

Day 12: Kochi - Alleppey

This morning a short drive from Kochi brings you to to Allepey where you will board your traditional Keralan house boat. Sit back and enjoy the cosy comfort of a moving boat watching the country side glide past looking out for the ancient Champakulam church. Tasty local Kuttanadan dishes will be served on board.

Day 13: Alleppey - Kochi

This morning disembark from your house boat at Alleppy and transfer back to Kochi. This commercial city, also called “The Queen of the Arabian Sea” is famous for its exquisite designer Gold Jewelry. The Indian Navy, the Port and the Airport share the largely man-made Willingdon Island. The touring today includes the visit to Dutch Palace built by the Portuguese for a local King in 1555 A.D. The famous Jew Street, a cul-de-sac leading to the beautiful Parsi Synagogue built in 1568. A walking tour of Fort Cochin will take you through the streets still graced with traces of Portuguese, Dutch & British colonial architecture, including a few old trading factories, the only ones still standing anywhere in the world.

Day 14: Kochi - Dubai

Today you will be transferred for your flight to Dubai (FLIGHT NOT INCLUDED). Upon arrival you will be met by our local representative and transferred to your hotel where the remainder of the day can be spent at leisure.

Day 15: Dubai

Enjoy a half day city tour taking in the iconic sights of Dubai, starting with Dubai’s most well known structure, the Burj Al Arab hotel. Continue to the Jumeirah Mosque considered to be the most striking mosque in Dubai. Then proceed to Bastakia, the oldest part of the city to visit the Dubai museum situated in the Al Fahidi Fort, the oldest existing building in Dubai. Continue your tour with a visit to some of the local markets before taking a water taxi across The Creek to the spice markets and gold souks. Next board a cruise aboard a traditional wooden vessel offering an intriguingly different view of this amazing city. You will see the old splendid architecture of Dubai as the Sheikh Saeed's house, the birthplace of Sheikh Rashid and the Heritage village are reminiscent of days gone by. Dinner onboard included.

Day 16: Dubai

Spend the morning at leisure before embarking on a exciting desert safari. Hop on board your 4 wheel drive for an adventure into the desert. Your experienced driver will take you across the rolling sand dunes on an exhilarating drive. A stop will be made to watch the sun setting over the desert before heading over to a traditional Bedouin camp where you will be greeted with a delicious spiced Arabic coffee and even have the opportunity to ride a camel. Then settle down to enjoy dinner cooked on an open fire right in front of you. Then to truly top off your desert experience a belly dancer will entertain you to traditional music. A magic night!

Day 17: Dubai

Today marks the end of your adventure with On the Go Tours. After breakfast and hotel check out we will transfer you to the airport in time for your onward departure flight.
