Today we take our included to Srinagar, the capital of Jammu and Kashmir, situated in the northwestern region of India. Jammu and Kashmir is bordered in the north by China, to the east by the autonomous region of Tibet, to the south by the Indian states of Himachal Pradesh and Punjab, and to the west by the Pakistani city of Rawalpindi and on North Western side by Afghanistan. Upon arrival you'll be met and transferred to your hotel. This evening we will take a ride in a shikara to witness the sunset over Dal Lake. This morning we visit some of the stunning Mughal Gardens that Srinagar is famous for. We visit the terraced Nishat Bagh or Nishat Garden on the eastern side of the lake, Nishat Bagh translates in Hindustani as "Garden of Joy" which is entirely fitting. Later we visit Shalimar Garden, equally as stunning and located on the northeast side of the lake. The gardens are linked to Dal Lake via channel. Later we visit the Old City of Srinigar, or as it's also known downtown Srinigar, with its winding streets and alleys lined with shops selling and making the finest Kashmari goods. Evening at leisure.
Today drive west through the avenues of Poplar trees and fertile rice fields, passing small villages to Gulmarg – India’s premier winter sports town. Sitting at an altitude of 2650m and offering panoramic views of Vale of Kashmir, Gulmarg is the ideal place for a little outdoor adventure. Arriving here, we have included a Gondala ride until Phase 1 o get a feel for the lofty heights.
This morning we set off to the airport, and catch a flight to Delhi then, connect to your flight to Varanasi. (SG 864 1010 / 1135 & SG 114 1315 / 1440) Arriving into Varanasi, you will see our friendly local team waiting to transfer you to your hotel.
Abundant with temples and a labyrinth of streets, Varanasi is exciting, enticing and a city not to be missed. Early this morning we enjoy a boat ride on the River Ganges to view the sunrise and the ancient religious tradition of ritual cleansing that takes place on the ghats (riverside steps). Enjoy a tour of the city, with its numerous temples and wonderful historic feel; with time later to relax before our guide takes you down to the river for an evening visit to Ganges to see the aarti ceremony.
This morning we set off to the airport, and catch a flight to Delhi then, connect to your flight to Udaipur. (6E 175 - 1045 / 1220 & AI 471 - 1600 / 1710) Arriving into Udaipur, you will see our friendly local team waiting to transfer you to your hotel.
This morning will consist of an orientation and sightseeing tour of Udaipur - including the City Palace and museum - before having a few hours in the afternoon to explore for yourselves. This evening you will take ride in a shared boat on Lake Pichola.

Sit back for the next few days and relax here in this laid back coastal area of India, walk along palm fringed beaches looking for shells and watching the fishermen at work, or simply kick back and enjoy some fresh fruit cocktails served on a silver platter.

Mumbai or Bombay, as it was formerly known - remains India’s city of dreams. Today we embark on a glittering city tour, with a visit to the Prince of Wales museum, Marine Drive and the Mani Bhawan Jain temple. (Elephanta caves are closed on Mondays so a visit cannot be included)
Sadly your journey has come to an end, we will transfer you to the airport in time for your flight home.
