Day 1: Mumbai

Once you arrive into Mumbai, you'll be met and transferred to your hotel where the rest of the day is free to explore Mumbai or relax.

Day 2: Mumbai

Today is at your leisure with a car and driver at your disposal for use within city limits.

Day 3: Mumbai

Today we embark on a glittering city tour, with a morning visit to the cave temples of Elephanta Island sculpted during the 5th to the 8th centuries. In the afternoon visit the Prince of Wales museum, Marine Drive and the Mani Bhawan Jain temple.

Day 4: Mumbai

Today is at your leisure with a car and driver at your disposal for use within city limits.

Day 5: Mumbai - Aurangabad

Morning transfer to the airport for your flight to Aurangabad - 9W 2023, 0635/0720,Economy. Arrival transfer to your hotel. Afternoon is spent touring the majestic 12th century Fort Daulatabad one of the world’s best preserved forts of medieval times.

Day 6: Aurangabad

Today explore the UNESCO World Heritage Listed Ellora caves comprising of 34 cave temples dedicated to three different religions - Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism. The last stop is Bibi-ka-Maqbara - a 17th century mausoleum similar in style to that of the Taj Mahal, afternoon at leisure.

Day 7: Aurangabad

Older than the Ellora caves (200 BC to 650 AD) the UNESCO World Heritage Listed Buddhist caves of Ajanta are also cut from the volcanic lava enjoy the morning touring here. Remainder of the day is at your leisure.

Day 8: Aurangabad - Mysore

Transfer to airport for your flight to Bangalore via Mumbai (9W 2024, 0755/0840- 9W 342, 0910/1045) On arrival to Bangalore our local rep collects you for the drive to Mysore.

Day 9: Mysore

Enjoy a half day tour of Mysore's wonderful highlights that includes the Maharaja's Palace, the lush Brindavan Gardens with its danc¬ing fountains built on the terraces of Krishnarajasagar Dam, St.Philomena's Church built in an imposing Gothic style, the Jagan¬mohan Palace which was converted into an art gallery in 1875 and the Chamundi Hills.

Day 10: Mysore - Kochi

Morning we drive to Bangalore airport for your flight to Cochin (6E 345, 1420/1525) On arrival into Cochin we transfer you to your hotel.

Day 11: Kochi

Day at leisure this evening you will get to watch the famous Keralan dancers perform we will arrive early so you don’t miss the artists applying their awesome make-up.

Day 12: Kochi - Periyar NP

This morning enjoy a sightseeing tour, including a walking tour of Fort Cochin. When ready we transfer to Thekkady. This evening enjoy a visit to a spice plantation.

Day 13: Periyar NP - Kumarakom

Morning or afternoon at your preference we will transfer you to Kumarakom. Arrival and check in the afternoon is at your leisure.

Sunrise boat trip

Day 14: Kumarakom - Alleppey

This morning we journey by road where you will board a traditional Keralan rice boat for a journey through the backwaters in and around Allapuzha (Alleppey). The boat will cross shallow, palm-fringed lakes and cruise along peaceful canals where copra and cashews are loaded onto local boats. The on-board cook will prepare locally-inspired food. Relax, read and catch some sun as the boat plies it’s route.

Day 15: Alleppey

Disembarking at Alleppey after breakfast today we drive to Kochi airport for your flight home.
