The grand entrance into Delhi's famous Red Fort

Day 1: Delhi

Namaste! Welcome to New Delhi, the capital city of India and the start of your eye-opening adventure! Our friendly team will be waiting in the arrivals hall to transfer you to your hotel where you can relax for the rest of the day.

Day 2: Delhi

This morning, our Welcome Meeting takes place. We’ll then enjoy a full day sightseeing tour of Delhi, taking in the impressive Red Fort, Jama Masjid - India’s oldest and largest mosque, Raj Ghat - the site of Gandhi’s cremation and our day concludes with a visit to the Akshardham Temple to see your first glimpse of India's Hindu religious side.

Day 3: Delhi - Agra

Departing Delhi, we journey to Agra, once India’s Mughal capital. Here, we visit the impressive Agra Fort, which boasts some of India's finest Mughal buildings behind it's fortified walls. Later on we take a motorised buggy to the legendary Taj Mahal and witness a magical sunset. Built by Shah Jahan in the 16th century as an enduring memorial to his beloved wife Mumtaz. Built entirely of white marble, the Taj Mahal has no peers.

Day 4: Agra - Jaipur

Morning drive to visit Fatehpur Sikri a desert mughal city thereafter we drive to Deeg. Interestingly during the Raj the British people couldn't enter in the city, the last wish of British people was to see Deeg palace when they were leaving India but the royal Jat Raja did not allow them. After visiting the palace at your leisure we continue to a smaller rural area where we enjoy a delicious lunch at a historic mansion before finishing our drive to Jaipur.

Day 5: Jaipur

Maybe opt for an early morning balloon flight over the pink city of Jaipur? See Enhance your holiday. Look out for the snake charmers that dot our route, as we travel to the 16th century Amber Fort. An exotic elephant ride transports us to the lofty fort, where we’ll enjoy a tour of this Rajput extravaganza. Later in the afternoon we tour the City Palace, which boasts an interesting museum of regal attire and Jantar Mantar, an ancient astronomical observatory.

Day 6: Jaipur - Narlai

This morning after an early breakfast, we drive to Narlai for your one night stay at the 17th century fortress named Rawla Narlai. Arrival and check in to your room that is adorned with beautiful ornate furnishings - Afternoon at leisure to explore the village and surrounding rural optional activities on offer.

Day 7: Narlai - Udaipur

Continuing our journey to Udaipur today we have a few interesting stops to make on the way. First we visit Ranakpur, a small town tucked away in a remote valley and famed for its beautiful 14th century Jain temples. We’ll enjoy some exploration then continue onto visit Kumbhalgarh fort which is the second most important citadel after Chittorgarh in the Mewar region. Arriving into Udaipur by the evening relax at your hotel.

Day 8: Udaipur

This morning enjoy touring of the imposing City Palace. Afternoon enjoy free time to explore and perhaps shop for colourful Rajasthani souvenirs and Indian spices. This evening before we drive half hour to the Monsoon Palace to witness sunset and experience the magic atmosphere at twilight.

Day 9: Udaipur - Goa

This morning the tropical shores of Goa and some much needed R&R beckons. Morning you will fly to first to Mumbai and after a short transit in the airport you fly down to Goa. Arriving here, your on the go tours rep we will transfer to your hotel that specialises in Yoga and Ayurveda. (Flight times 9W 7202 - 0715 / 0830 + 6E 181 - 1215 / 1325)

Day 10: Goa

At your hotel you can partake in any number of Ayurvedic treatments & Yoga Classes.

Day 14: Goa - Hampi

Morning say farewell to Goa, an early transfer to the train station for the train to Hospet. Train journeys in India are a must-do experience for any visitor young or old! The friendly locals will be vying for a chat with you. Arriving into Hospet, Mallik's driver will be waiting to welcome you with your names on a sign and drive you the short distance to where Mallik will be waiting at his family’s resort Boulders to receive you. (Train times - 18048 - VSG HOWRH EXPRESS - 0750 / 1453 2ND class Air Condition Carriage)

Enjoy today in Hampi with your friends exploring all there is to offer.

Day 17: Hampi - Hyderabad

Travelling through the back country in India offers a fascinating window onto another world so sit back, relax and enjoy the journey, soaking in the amazing sights and sounds as you make your way to the Mughal city of Hyderabad. Arriving here check into your lodgings I am sure Mallik knows many a good restaurant here for some fantastic dining.

Day 18: Hyderabad

Head out today to explore the city of Hyderabad and all it has to offer such as include Tollywood (movie making) and historical sights such as Charminar, Golconda and more.

Day 19: Hyderabad - Chennai

Morning say farewell to Mallik and fly onto Chennai. Once you arrive into Chennai you will be met and transferred to your hotel by our friendly local rep. This afternoon enjoy a tour of the city which includes a visit to St George Fort, built in 1653 and St Mary’s Church, the oldest British church in India. This evening at your leisure. (Flight time - 9W 2749 - 0700 / 0830)

Day 20: Chennai

Today we have a day tour to fascinating Kanchipuram, one of the sacred cities in India and thereafter visit the seaside town of Mahabalipuram, famous for its shore temple. The city is also famous for handwoven silk. In Mahabalipuram, the huge rock-cut sculptures and mandapams (pillared pavilions) date from the 5th to 8th centuries. When ready we return to Chennai, your guide can recommend a suitable restaurant for a farewell India romantic dinner.

Day 21: Chennai

"Everything will be alright in the end", they say in India, "and if it's not alright, then it's not the end". Sadly, today marks the end of your incredible journey and we hope it's been more than alright! After breakfast and hotel check out we transfer you to the airport for your onward departure journey and bid you a fond farewell.
