This morning you fly to Jodhpur, arriving here meet your local guide whom will assist you to your hotel. Jodhpur is known as the Blue City. This is because of the coloured houses in the old town, painted indigo. We’ll enjoy some touring in this colourful Rajasthani city, taking in the Old City clock tower, Sadar Market and the Royal Cenotaphs. Remainder of the day at leisure to explore.
Today's in depth touring takes you on a journey of discovery to see the Mehrangarh Fort, which is one of the largest forts in India, Jaswant Thada a gorgeous building with rare portraits of former rulers housed inside. After, Umaid Bhawan Palace with its expansive buildings and grounds in particular the government museum you will visit here also. We end the day with a visit to the Mahamandir Temple with its 84 beautifully carved pillars making it architectural wonder.
Leaving Jodhpur, we drive to the not to be missed heritage hotel of Rawla Narlai. Arriving here you will check in and simply sit back and enjoy the fantastic sites and sounds of rural India. Highly recommend you to walk in the village and visit the ancient Shiva Temple, lodged deep in a primal cave high on the hill.
Enjoy a day to head out and explore a slice of rural India, you can opt to book an pay locally and go on a horse safari into the nearby forests if you liked. This evening we have included for you the dining experience to beat all. we will walk you through the village and into the forest to come upon a 1100 yr old step well that is illuminated by oil lamps and will be your sanctuary for a fantastic dining experience.
Today we will make our way to Udaipur. Along the way, making two interesting stops to visit Ranakpur and its famous Jain temples then Kumbalgarh Fort, one of the most important forts in Rajasthan.

Your train arrives into Agra in the morning to the start of a new day and the gathering hustle and bustle. Our rep will be waiting for you, but make sure you take a moment to try some chai, hot tea from one of the vendors, before transferring to your hotel. After resting up, we will visit the ghostly former Mughal city of Fatehpur Sikri, abandoned due to lack of water. This evening enjoy a guided tour of the Taj Mahal with free time to enjoy the romantic scenery.
This morning we visit Agra fort, which boasts some of India’s finest Mughal buildings behind it’s fortified walls. During its history it has been a palace, a fort and a prison! Afternoon we drive to Delhi airport for the evening flight to Varanasi. Arriving here our local driver will assist you to your hotel.
This morning, we enjoy a sunrise boat ride on the holy Ganges where we’ll view the ancient religious tradition of ritual cleansing that takes place on the many riverbank ghats (riverside steps). Later, we embark on a tour of the city taking in the amazing sites of this ancient city places covered will be Alamgir Mosque, Bharat Mata Temple, Government Museum with interesting antiquities, Great Mosque of Aurangzeb, Pandit Malaviya Temple, Ram Nagar Fort and Museum. Our day concludes with your guide taking you to see the evening ritual worship on the river.
This morning a visit to Chunar, 40 kms from Varanasi, is a town with a huge fort overlooking the river Ganges. Former site of many battles, the fort not only has great views of the Ganges, but a sun dial, a huge well, prison an execution room. This afternoon perhaps opt for a journey of discovery about how Buddha passed much time in Varanasi with a visit to Sarnath. Alternately enjoy free time to explore.
Today the allure of the tropical south beckons! We will take to the sky and fly via Delhi or Mumbai to Kochi. Arrival and meet your local driver whom will take you to the hotel for the evening.
This morning enjoy a sightseeing tour of the town including the beautiful Parsi Synagogue built in 1568, the Dutch Palace built by the Portuguese in 1555 and St Francis’ Church. A walking tour of Fort Cochin takes you through streets still graced with traces of Portuguese, Dutch and British colonial architecture. Afternoon/evening free to explore. This evening we will take you out to watch famous Keralan dancers perform. We will be sure to arrive early so you don’t miss the artists applying their awesome make-up.
This morning we drive you to board a simply furnished private rice-boat for a journey through the backwaters in and around Alleppey. Crewed by a poler to push the rice boat through the water, a distance of some 20 kms will be covered, during which time the boat will glide past colourful local villages. As for dining, the on-board cook will prepare meals using fresh local produce.
Disembarking at Alleppey after breakfast, you’ll be driven the short distance to the gorgeous beach village of Mararikulam. Arriving here check into your hotel a stones throw from the Indian ocean.
Sit back and relax for today and tomorrow in this laid back coastal area of India, walk along palm fringed beaches looking for shells and watching the fishermen at work, or simply kick back and enjoy some fresh fruit cocktails served on a silver platter.
