Today, we enjoy a half day city tour including the one of the most richly diverse Botanical Gardens in South Asia, Vidhana Soudha, counted amongst the most impressive as well as the most magnificent buildings in the Bangalore city. Other sightseeing includes Lalbagh Gardens, Cubban Park and Museum, The Govt. Museum, Cariappa Memorial Park, Visveswarayya Industrial & Technological Museum, Tippu’s Palace, The Fort, Bull Temple, Venkatappa Art Gallery. (Tippus Summer Palace is closed on Friday's).
We travel onto Mysore today to enjoy an afternoon sightseeing tour including Mysore Palace an architectural wonder and Chamundi Hill. Nestling on a hilltop about 335m high, Chamundi Hills houses a temple of patron Goddess of Wodeyars. The temple can be reached by climbing 1000 steps up to the hill or taking a curve road to the temple. Other sightseeing today includes Chamarajendra Art Gallery, Mysore Zoo Gardens, St. Philomena’s Church, Temples and we finish the day at Brindavan Gardens.
Today, we drive to Ooty, upon arrival check-in into hotel. This afternoon is at leisure.
Travelling onto Ooty to enjoy sightseeing of this beautiful hill station located on the Blue Mountains (Nilgiris) at an altitude of 2240 m above MSL. Sightseeing today includes the Botanical Gardens, Centenary Rose Park, Rose Garden, Lake, Government Museum, Deer Park and Doddabetta.
After breakfast check-out from hotel and drive to Bangalore Airport for your onward journey. Ooty to Bangalore is roughly a 7 hour drive so we recommend booking an international flight out on the 12th and overnighting in Bangalore on the 11th just in case your flights change or you get held up in traffice. If you must book a flight out today, please make sure it's at least after 20:00pm today.
