Namaste! Welcome to India and New Delhi the capital city of India. We will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel with the rest of the day yours to relax after your long flight.
Today we will take you to visit the Budha national Musem and also take you to explore both Old and New Delhi - the order of New Delhi is a huge contrast to the unorganised chaos of the Old City. But both are just as appealing. Highlights we be the impressive Red Fort, Jama Masjid - India’s oldest and largest mosque, Raj Ghat - the site of Gandhi’s cremation and more.
After breakfast we will drive 4 hours to Agra - home of India's famous attraction - the Taj Mahal. Upon arrival we will enjoy a sightseeing tour to the Agra Fort.
Today we rise early to see view the magnificent Taj Mahal in its ethereal morning light. Enjoy your own time to explore and a guided tour of this once powerful Moghul emperor’s monument to love. Later we drive out to the ghostly fortifed city of Fatehpur Sikri, abandoned only 8 years after its construction due to droughts in the area continuing on you will arrive in to Jaipur 'The Pink City'.
This morning we visit the delicate pink, magnificent fort-palace of Amber - a wonderful example of Rajput architecture just north of Jaipur. Subject to Government regulations, we will arrive in style atop an elephant! Enjoy an afternoon sightseeing tour of the city. Rest of the evening is free and at your leisure.
Departing Jaipur we set out for Shapura Bagh. Here, we enjoy some free time to relax at your beautiful upmarket property ideally located between Jaipur & Udaipur.
We conintue our road journey to Udaipur. Arriving in the later afternoon enjoy free time to relax and explore at leisure.
This morning will consist of an orientation and sightseeing tour of Udaipur - including the City Palace and museum - before having a few hours in the afternoon to explore for yourselves. This evening you will take ride in an private boat on Lake Pichola itself.
The lure of the tropical can wait no longer! Today at 08:40 am we fly to Mumbi were we connect to your 10:35 flight to Kochi. Arriving here our team will meet and transfer you to your hotel. This evening will take you to see a Kathakali performance this tradtional dance is dated back 400 Years.
The touring this morning includes a visit to Dutch Palace built by the Portuguese for a local King in 1555 A.D. The famous Jew Street, a cul-de-sac leading to the beautiful Parsi Synagogue built in 1568. A walking tour of Fort Cochin will take you through the streets still graced with traces of Portuguese, Dutch & British colonial architecture. After, we drive to Periyar.
Today you will enjoy a tranquil boat ride, drift silently along the water's of Lake Periyar, spotting wild elephent herds and many of the varied wildlife the park has to offer. This afternoon we enjoy a walking tour of the spice plantations.
Departing Periyar we head for Alleppey, here we embark our house boat. The boat will cross shallow, palm-fringed lakes and cruise along peaceful canals where copra and cashews are loaded onto boats. The on-board cook will prepare locally-inspired food. Relax, read and catch some sun as the boat plies it’s route.
After breakfast, you'll disembark from the houseboat and be transferred to Kovalam. Enjoy the afternoon relaxing at the hotel or the beach.
