Day 1: Patna
Welcome to Delhi and the start of your tour. You departure flight to Patna has an expected departure time of 1300. Upon arrival you will be met by our local representatives and transferred to you hotel. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight Patna.
Day 2: Patna - Varanasi
After breakfast you will be transferred to you the railway station to board the Shramjeevi Express (I AC) to Varanasi. Upon arrival you will be met by our representatives and transferred to you hotel. This evening we head down to the Ganges to witness the evening Aarti ceremony. Overnight Varanasi
Day 3: Varanasi - Khajuraho
We rise early this morning to take a boat ride along the Ganges. After we return to the hotel for breakfast then partake in a half day sightseeing tour of the Holy City of Varanasi. We will take a walk along the Ghats, we continue through the Old Park the onto the one of the most famous Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva the Kashi Viswanath Temple. We will also drive through the Benaras Hindu University. This afternoon you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Khajuraho (expected time of departure 1230) Upon arrival you will be met by our representatives and transferred to you hotel. Later this afternoon we do a half day visit of Eastern and Western Group of Temples. Overnight Khajuraho.
Day 4: Khajuraho - Agra
This morning you will be driven to Orchha where we will see the The Chaturbhuj Temple afterwards we continue on to Jhansi, where you will take the train to Agra (air conditioned chair car). We will meet you at the train station and transfer you to your hotel. Overnight Agra.
Day 5: Agra - Jaipur
A sunrise visit to the mighty Taj Mahal this morning, afterwards we return to the Hotel for breakfast. After breakfast we go exploring the Agra Fort. Later this afternoon we travel by car to the "Pink City" Jaipur. En Route we visit the abandond city of Fatehpur Sikri, shortly abandoned after its completion due to lack of water and tensions between neighbouring states. Overnight Jaipur.
Day 6: Jaipur
This morning we visit the delicate pink, magnificent fort-palace of Amber - a wonderful example of Rajput architecture just north of Jaipur. Subject to Government regulations, we will arrive in style riding on an elephant! In the afternoon you will enjoy a tour of the city. Highlights include the City Palace, which boasts an interesting museum of regal attire and Jantar Mantar, an ancient astronomical observatory. Overnight Jaipur.
Day 7: Jaipur - Delhi
Today we travel by road to the Capital of India Delhi. Spend the rest of the day at leisure exploring this city. Overnight Delhi.
Day 8: Delhi
An orientation tour of India’s capital includes congested Old Delhi and the more streamlined New Delhi. Highlights of our tour include India Gate, Jama Masjid - India's oldest and largest mosque, Qutab Minar and Raj Ghat - site of Mahatma Gandhi’s cremation. Tonight, we enjoy a Namaste Dinner at an Indian restaurant. Overnight - New Delhi
Day 9: Delhi - Amritsar
You will be met at the hotel by our representative and driver to transfer you to the airport by a private vehicle for your departure to Amritsar by flight 9W 7150. Expected time of departure 12:00 hours. Upon arrival into Amritsa you will be met by our representatives and trasferred to your hotel. Overnight Amritsar.
Day 10: Amritsar
Enjoy as sleep in this morning as your spend it at your leisure doing independant activities. Later this afternoon enjoy a sightseeing tour of the Golden Temple and Jallianwala Bagh. Overnight Amritsar.
Day 11: Amritsar
Another morning for another sleep in as you spend the morning at your leisure for independent activities. Later this afternoon we take and excursion to Wagah Border to see the changing of the guard parade. Overnight Amritsar.
Day 12: Amritsar - Kochi
Today you will be transferred to the Airport to board the flight to Kochi. Arrive Kochi Delhi at 19:10 hours. You will be met by our representative and driver on arrival and transferred by a private vehicle to your hotel. Spend the evening at your leisure. Overnight Kochi.
Day 13: Kochi - Alleppey
This morning a short drive from Kochi to Allepey brings you to board your house boat. Sit back enjoy the cozy comfort of a moving boat watch the country side, ancient Champakulam church and taste local Kuttanadan dishes.
Day 14: Alleppey
Relax onboard your rice boat today as you watch the backwaters of Kerala drift by. Overnight Onboard.
Day 15: Alleppey - Kochi
After breakfast our leisurely cruise comes to an end, as you are transferred back to Kochi for an afternoon city tour. Spend the afternoon exploring Old Kochi where we will take in the Dutch Palace and St Fancis Church. Overnight Kochi
Day 16: Kochi
Today we say our goodbyes as you are transferred back to the airport for your departing flight to Delhi (ETA into Delhi 1830) for your International flights.
