We rise early this morning to take a boat ride along the Ganges. After we return to the hotel for breakfast then partake in a half day sightseeing tour of the Holy City of Varanasi. We will take a walk along the Ghats, we continue through the Old Park the onto the one of the most famous Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva the Kashi Viswanath Temple. We will also drive through the Benaras Hindu University. This afternoon you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Khajuraho (expected time of departure 1230) Upon arrival you will be met by our representatives and transferred to you hotel. Later this afternoon we do a half day visit of Eastern and Western Group of Temples. Overnight Khajuraho.
This morning you will be driven to Orchha where we will see the The Chaturbhuj Temple afterwards we continue on to Jhansi, where you will take the train to Agra (air conditioned chair car). We will meet you at the train station and transfer you to your hotel. Overnight Agra.
A sunrise visit to the mighty Taj Mahal this morning, afterwards we return to the Hotel for breakfast. After breakfast we go exploring the Agra Fort. Later this afternoon we travel by car to the "Pink City" Jaipur. En Route we visit the abandond city of Fatehpur Sikri, shortly abandoned after its completion due to lack of water and tensions between neighbouring states. Overnight Jaipur.
This morning we visit the delicate pink, magnificent fort-palace of Amber - a wonderful example of Rajput architecture just north of Jaipur. Subject to Government regulations, we will arrive in style riding on an elephant! In the afternoon you will enjoy a tour of the city. Highlights include the City Palace, which boasts an interesting museum of regal attire and Jantar Mantar, an ancient astronomical observatory. Overnight Jaipur.
Today we travel by road to the Capital of India Delhi. Spend the rest of the day at leisure exploring this city. Overnight Delhi.
An orientation tour of India’s capital includes congested Old Delhi and the more streamlined New Delhi.
