Day 1: Delhi
Welcome to India and the start of your holiday! Arrive Delhi at 0310 and you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Check in time will be 1200 hours. (early check in requested not guaranteed) Rest of the day is free and at your leisure.
Day 2: Delhi - Nagpur
Morning at leisure in Delhi. Later this evening we will transfer you to the railway station for the overnight train to Nagpur. Train Bilaspur Rajdhani departs at 15:45 and arrives the next morning at 05:25. 1st class air conditioned sleeper.
Day 3: Nagpur - Pench NP
Arriving into Nagpur our local representative will meet you and transfer you to Pench National Park. (Aprox 03 hours) Arrive and transfer to your hotel. Evening at leisure as no game drive on wednesday.
Day 4: Pench NP
Pench National Park is located in northwestern Maharashtra state, around 70km from Nagpur. Spread over an area of 275 km, the park also extends into the neighbouring state of Madhya Pradesh. Pench was said to be the inspiration and setting for Rudyard Kipling’s famous Jungle Book collection of stories. This morning and evening enjoy game drives to spot the wildlife in a shared jeep.
Day 6: Pench NP - Kanha NP
This morning enjoy your final game drive to spot the wildlife in a shared jeep. Enjoy lunch at your Lodge in Pench before we will transfer you by road to Kanha National Park. (Aprox 06 hours)
Day 7: Kanha NP
Kanha National Park has a tremendous variety of wildlife - including the Bengal tiger, leopard, sambar, chital, blackbuck, gaur, swamp deer and jackal. For the next two days you will enjoy morning and evening game drives in a shared jeep.
Day 9: Kanha NP - Bandhavgarh NP
Morning your final game drive and then check out with a packed lunch provided by the lodge. We then take to the road and drive to Bhandavgargh National Park. (Aprox 06 hours) Arrive and transfer to your lodge.
Day 10: Bandhavgarh NP
Bandhavgarh is set amidst the Vindhyan ranges. Claiming to have the highest density population of Bengal tiger in India, coupled with a population of leopard, nilgai, jackal, wild boar, sloth bear, gaur, sambar deer and colourful bird life, game drives are often peppered with sightings. Today enjoy a morning game drive in a shared jeep. Evening at leisure - no game drive on wednesday.
Day 12: Bandhavgarh NP
Enjoy a morning and evening game drive in the national park in a shared jeep.
Day 14: Bandhavgarh NP - Ranthambhore NP
Early morning game drive in a shared jeep. Lunch included. Onward transfer to Katni railway station for your overnight train to Swai Madhopur. Train number 12181, Dayodya Express departs at 21:50 and arrives at 09:35 in 1st Class Air Conditioned sleeper carriage. Carry packed dinner and breakfast from the lodge at Bandhavgarh (included)
Day 15: Ranthambhore NP
Arrive Sawai Madhopur and you will be met and transferred to your hotel. In addition to the Bengal tiger, Ranthambhore is home to wild boar, nilgai, sambar deer and a variety of birds. Tiger spottings are more common in the morning or late afternoon. This evening enjoy an evening game drive in a shared jeep.
Day 16: Ranthambhore NP
Enjoy a morning and evening game drive in the national park in a shared jeep.
Day 17: Ranthambhore NP
Enjoy a morning game drive in the national park in a shared jeep. Evening at leisure - no game drive on wednesday.The resort usually organizes some activities like a visit to a nearby fort, areas etc. This can be booked and paid for directly with the resort.
Day 18: Ranthambhore NP - Delhi
Enjoy your final morning game drive in a shared jeep. We will then travel by train back to Delhi:-Golden Temple Mail departs at 12:45 and arrives at 19:00. 2nd class Air conditioned carriage. Arriving into Delhi we will transfer to your hotel for the evening.
Day 19: Delhi - Corbett NP
Leaving Delhi we drive to Corbett National Park (Aprox 07 hours) which is noted not only for its rich wildlife and birdlife, it is also renown for its scenic charm and magnificent mountain and river views. The park comprises the broad valley of Ramganga River backing onto the forest-covered slopes of the Himalayan foothills. Evening at leisure.
Day 20: Corbett NP
This morning enjoy a game drive in the national park in a shared jeep. Abundant in wildlife including Asian elephant, species of deer, leopard, langur, wild boar and birdlife - get those camera's ready! This afternoon we will have an elephant ride. Please note that the elephant ride in Corbett is organized outside the forest and nearer the resort. Afterwards you can do a short walk with a Naturalist.
Day 21: Corbett NP - Delhi
After our final morning shared Elephant ride we will drive you back to Delhi. Arrive Delhi and you will be transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the late evening is free and at your leisure.
