Welcome to India and the start of your holiday. Upon arrival you will be met by our local representatives and transferred to your accommodation. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight Delhi.

Day 2: Delhi

Today we enjoy a full day sightseeing tour of Delhi, taking in the impressive Red Fort, Jama Masjid - India’s oldest and largest mosque, Raj Ghat - the site of Gandhi’s cremation and more. This evening enjoy a sound & light show at Red Fort, New Delhi. Overnight - Delhi

Day 3: Delhi - Mandawa

Leaving Delhi you will travel to Mandawa. Arriving this afternoon enjoy the afternoon at your leisure to explore Mandawa famous for Havelis and frescos. Overnight Mandawa.

Day 4: Mandawa - Bikaner

Travel by road from Mandawa to Bikaner. This afternoon enjoy a city tour of Bikaner and visit Junagadh Fort. The fort was originally called Chintamani and was renamed Junagarh or "Old Fort". Later this afternoon you will visit a camel breeding farm (Camel Breeding is open from 3pm to 6pm). Overnight Bikaner.

Day 5: Bikaner - Jaisalmer

Back on the road again today as your travel to the city of Jaisalmer. Jaisalmer is an exotic, remote, and beautiful is a bit of a paradox. Set so deep in the heart of the Thar Desert that one would expect barren near-desolation, this frontier town is today one of Rajasthan's best-loved tourist destinations. Overnight Jaisalmer.

Day 6: Jaisalmer

This morning enjoy a half day guided sightseeing of Jaisalmer. You will visit Jaisalmer fort. The old fort city rises up just like a giant and majestic sandcastle, its ancient and narrow streets and alleyways still preserving a traditional way of life with craftsmen still weaving and stone carving, shopkeepers trading and housewives gathering. And visit the Jain Temples and the Havelis (mansions). This evening take a Camel ride on Sam Sand Dunes. Overnight Jaisalmer.

Day 7: Jaisalmer - Jodhpur

An interesting drive through increasingly varied scenery takes us to Jodhpur, a town at the edge of the mighty Thar Desert. Dominated by Meherangarh Fort which sits majestically atop a hill, Jodhpur is known as the Blue City. This is because of the coloured houses in the old town, painted indigo. We’ll enjoy some touring in this colourful Rajasthani city, taking in the mighty fort and bazaars of the old city which are gathered around the city’s tall clock tower. Overnight - Jodhpur

Day 8: Jodhpur - Udaipur

En Route to Udaipur we visit the Jain temples at Ranakpur, one of the five main holy places of the Jain community. We arrive at Udaipur an oasis of cool, with its massive lake and Venetian-like appearance, Udaipur is one of the most romantic towns in Rajasthan. A favourite amongst travellers, Udaipur is crammed full of palaces and temples. Overnight Udaipur.

Day 9: Udaipur

This morning we tour this fascinating city. We will visit City Palace, Jagdish Temple, Shaliyo ki bari Garden and Bharti lok kala Mandal. Enjoy boat ride at sunset on the Lake Pichola on shared boat. Overnight Udaipur.

Day 10: Udaipur - Pushkar

Leaving Udaipur we continue to Pushkar. Sitting on the edge of the desert and clinging to the side of a small lake, Pushkar is an ancient Rajasthani town considered by Hindus to be one of the most sacred places in India. Life in Pushkar is significantly related to the ancient lake. Legend has it the lake was formed when a lotus flower fell into the valley from the hands of Brahma. Day 11: Pushkar - Jaipur

Continuing on from Pushkar you will travel to the Pink City of Jaipur. Spend the afternoon at your leisure exploring this Pink City. Overnight Jaipur.

Day 12: Jaipur

This morning, we travel beyond Jaipur to the 16th century Amber Fort. An exotic elephant ride transports us to the lofty fort, where we’ll enjoy a tour of this Rajput extravaganza. Later in the afternoon we tour the City Palace, which boasts an interesting museum of regal attire and Jantar Mantar, an ancient astronomical observatory, before stopping at a cotton weaving house to see a demonstration of fabric dyeing and block printing. Day 13: Jaipur - Agra

En route to Agra, we visit Fatehpur Sikri, former imperial capital of the great Mughal emperor Akbar. Built between 1569 and 1585, it has been deserted for more than four centuries, by all accounts abandoned in 1600 due to a meagre supply of water. In Agra, we visit the impressive Agra Fort before touring the legendary Taj Mahal and witnessing a glorious golden sunset. Built by Emperor Shah Jahan in loving memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz, who tragically died in childbirth in 1631, the Taj Mahal in Agra is described as the most extravagant monument ever built for love and remains one of India’s most enduring symbols. Day 14: Agra - Delhi

Enjoy a guided tour of Agra today as you visit Agra Fort. Behind its colossal walls are some of the finest Mughal buildings in India. Construction of the fort commenced during the reign of Emperor Akbar and additions continued to be made until the rule of his grandson Shah Jahan. During Akbar’s time, it was primarily a military fort though later the focus shifted and it partially became a palace. After our touring you will continue back to Delhi where you will spend your final night. Overnight Delhi & Baby Taj

Day 15: Delhi

Sadly your time with us has come to an end as you are transferred to the airport in time for your departure flight to your onward destination.
