Day 1: Delhi

Namaste! Welcome to New Delhi, the capital city of India and the start of your eye-opening adventure! Our friendly team will be waiting in the arrivals hall to transfer you to your hotel where you can relax for the rest of the day.

Day 2: Delhi - Pushkar

This morning we head off to the railway station for your train to Ajmer that leaves at 06:05 AM Train travel is a must-do experience for any visitor young or old! The friendly locals will be vying for a chat with you. Arriving into Ajmer at 12:05, meet our driver who will going to take you to your hotel in Pushkar. Remainder of the day at leisure.

Day 3: Pushkar

Today is at your leisure to enjoy the Pushkar Fair.

Day 4: Pushkar - Jaipur

This morning is free for you to enjoy the Pushkar Fair. Later, we will drive you to Jaipur also known as the 'Pink City' to check into your hotel.

Day 5: Jaipur

An exotic elephant ride transports us to the lofty 16th century Amber Fort on our morning tour. Later we explore the City Palace containing an interesting museum of regal attire. Just over the road is Jantar Mantar, an observatory of astronomy built by Jai Singh in 1728. At first glance, Jantar Mantar resembles a sculpture park, though in fact, each construction has a specific scientific purpose. Some measure the positions of stars, whilst others calculate eclipses, the lunar calendar and simply the time of day. Even today, most of the constructions remain accurate!

Day 6: Jaipur - Agra

En route on our drive to Agra, a stop is made at the fantastically well preserved former Mughal city of Fatehpur Sikri. This magnificent fortified city was the capital of the Mughal Empire from 1571 until 1585, when it was abandoned dramatically due to a lack of water. Explore the various temples, places of worships, pavilions, public areas and examples of everyday living such as areas from where ablutions were performed, to an ancient aqua cooling system and marvel at how life must have been for the inhabitants of this old city. This evening we visit the magnificent Taj Mahal.

Day 7: Agra - Rishikesh

This morning a visit to Agra fort, behind its colossal walls are some of the finest Mughal buildings in India. At around 09:30 AM we hit the road and drive to Delhi for your SG 2325 flight to Dehradun that departs 15:35. Arriving into Dehradun, you will see our local driver waiting to drive you to the Ananda Spa and check into your room with a Palace view.

Days 8-9: Rishikesh

After a relaxing morning at the Spa, we transfer you to Dehradun Airport for your flight to Delhi. The flight leaves at 16:35 and arrives at 17:40 from Delhi airport you catch your connecting flight home.
