The grand entrance into Delhi's famous Red Fort

Day 1: Delhi

Upon arrival into Delhi, you'll be met at the airport and transferred to the hotel. The remainder of the day is yours to relax or independently explore this bustling capital.

Day 2: Delhi - Agra

Departing Delhi, we journey to Agra, once India’s Mughal capital. Here, we visit the impressive Agra Fort, which boasts some of India's finest Mughal buildings behind it's fortified walls. Later on we take a motorised buggy to the legendary Taj Mahal and witness a magical sunset. Built by Shah Jahan in the 16th century as an enduring memorial to his beloved wife Mumtaz. Built entirely of white marble, the Taj Mahal has no peers.

Day 3: Agra - Jaipur

En route to Jaipur, we visit the ghostly former Mughal city of Fatehpur Sikri, abandoned due to lack of water. Once in Jaipur, enjoy an afternoon at leisure. Overnight Jaipur - Park Prima Jaipur - Superior Room

Day 4: Jaipur

Look out for the snake charmers that dot our route, as we travel to the 16th century Amber Fort. An exotic elephant ride (subject to elephant availability and government regulations) transports us to the lofty fort, where we’ll enjoy a tour of this Rajput extravaganza. Later in the afternoon we tour the City Palace, which boasts an interesting museum of regal attire and Jantar Mantar, an ancient astronomical observatory. Day 5: Jaipur - Ranthambhore NP

After breakfast, we have a 3-4 hour drive to Ranthambhore National Park. We check-in, freshen up and then venture out for an evening game drive (shared canter).

Day 6: Ranthambhore NP

Ranthambhore NP is one of the prime examples of Project Tiger’s conservation efforts in Rajasthan. Today, we enjoy both morning and evening game drives (shared canter) with some time to relax during the day.

Day 7: Ranthambhore NP - Pushkar

Today, we drive to Pushkar.

Day 8: Pushkar

This morning, enjoy a half day sightseeing tour including Pushkar Lake and Brahma Temple. This afternoon, relax on a camel ride at sunset.

Day 9: Pushkar - Jodhpur

An interesting drive through increasingly varied scenery takes us to Jodhpur, a town at the edge of the mighty Thar Desert. Dominated by Meherangarh Fort which sits majestically atop a hill, Jodhpur is known as the Blue City. This is because of the coloured houses in the old town, painted indigo. We’ll enjoy some touring in this colourful Rajasthani city, taking in the mighty fort and bazaars of the old city which are gathered around the city’s tall clock tower.

Day 10: Jodhpur

Morning jeep safari to the Bishnoi Villages to explore local handicraft and way or life. This afternoon is at leisure for you to enjoy Jodhpur you own way.

Day 11: Jodhpur - Ranakpur

Leaving Jodhpur, we drive to Ranakpur, a small town tucked away in a remote valley and famed for its beautiful 14th century Jain temples. We’ll enjoy some exploration here and time to relax at our hotel.

Day 12: Ranakpur

We enjoy a half day excursion to Kumbhalgarh National Park, home to a very large variety of wild life, some of which are highly endangered species. The wild life includes wolf, leopards, sloth bear, hyena, jackal, jungle cat, smabhar, nilgai, chaisingh (the four horned antelope), chinkara and hare.

Day 13: Ranakpur - Udaipur

Continuing south, we arrive at Udaipur. An oasis of cool, with its massive lake and Venetian-like appearance, Udaipur is one of the most romantic towns in Rajasthan. A favourite amongst travellers, Udaipur is crammed full of palaces and temples. This afternoon, we’ll enjoy a cruise on Lake Pichola.

Day 14: Udaipur

Today's touring includes the imposing City Palace, Jagdish Temple, Shaliyo ki bari Garden, Bharti lok kala Mandal, not to mention free time to explore and perhaps shop for colourful Rajasthani souvenirs and Indian spices.

Day 15: Udaipur - Delhi

Morning at leisure before we transfer you to the airport this afternoon to fly to Delhi, where you will be met and transferred to you hotel.

Day 16: Delhi

Full day touring of Old and New Delhi including the Red Fort, Jamma Masjid, Raj Ghat, Qutub Minar, Humayun's Tomb and Lutyen's building finishing the day with a walking tour through Old Delhi.

Departure transfer to the airport.
