Day 1: Delhi

Upon arrival into Delhi at 0100 AM on the 9th of February 2014, you'll be met at the airport and transferred to the hotel.

Day 2: Delhi

The remainder of the day is yours to relax or independently explore this bustling capital.

Day 3: Delhi

Today enjoy a full day sightseeing tour of old and New Delhi, taking in the impressive Red Fort, Jama Masjid - India’s oldest and largest mosque, Raj Ghat - the site of Gandhi’s cremation and more.

Day 4: Delhi - Agra

Departing Delhi, we journey to Agra, once India’s Mughal capital. Here, we visit the impressive Agra Fort, which boasts some of India's finest Mughal buildings behind it's fortified walls. Later on we take a motorised buggy to the legendary Taj Mahal and witness a magical sunset. Built by Shah Jahan in the 16th century as an enduring memorial to his beloved wife Mumtaz. Built entirely of white marble, the Taj Mahal has no peers.

Day 5: Agra - Jaipur

This morning visit the Taj Mahal at sunrise without a guide. En route to Jaipur, we visit ghostly former Mughal city of Fatehpur Sikri. This magnificent fortified city was the capital of the Mughal Empire from 1571 until 1585, when it was abandoned dramatically due to a lack of water to support the peoples who resided in the city. Thanks to the very durable red sandstone, from which it was built, Fatehpur Sikri remains fantastically preserved.

Day 6: Jaipur

Look out for the snake charmers that dot our route, as we travel to the 16th century Amber Fort. An exotic elephant ride transports us to the lofty fort, where we’ll enjoy a tour of this Rajput extravaganza.Today we tour the City Palace, which boasts an interesting museum of regal attire and Jantar Mantar, an ancient astronomical observatory before stopping at a cotton weaving house to see a demonstration of fabric dyeing and block printing.

Day 7: Jaipur

Enjoy a day at leisure with the car at your disposal, this makes no difference to the tour costs.

Day 8: Jaipur - Jodhpur

This morning bright and early, we head off to the railway station for the - JP JU SF Express 0600/1030 - express train to Jodhpur, with your seating in Air Conditioned Chair Car. Arriving into Jodhpur, our friendly local driver awaits to transfer you to your hotel. Afternoon at leisure with car at your disposal.(OVERNIGHT Indana Palace *2 nights with Breakfast)

Day 9: Jodhpur

Today enjoy a sightseeing tour of Jodhpur. Highlights include the Meharangarh Fort, which is probably the most formidable fortress in all of Rajasthan. One of the fort’s 7 gates is stilled scarred by cannon ball hits. Inside the fort, there is a series of courtyards and palaces some of which house an amazing collection of the trappings of Indian royalty and courtyards. Another popular landmark of the old city is the clock tower, located close to the vibrant Sandar market – this is a great place for a stroll. Here you can wander through the many alleys selling spices, Indian sweets, silver and handicrafts. Towards the south-east is the awesome Umaid Bhawan Palace and Museum.

Day 10: Jodhpur - Ranakpur

Leaving Jodhpur, we drive to Ranakpur, a small town tucked away in a remote valley and famed for its beautiful 14 century Jain temples. We’ll enjoy some exploration here and time to relax at our hotel. (OVERNIGHT Kings Abode *1 nights with Breakfast (Super Deluxe room)

Day 11: Ranakpur - Udaipur

Today we continue the journey to Udaipur and stop along the way to explore, Kumbhalgarh fort (without guide). Udaipur, founded in 1568 by Maharana Udai Singh II is an oasis of cool, with its massive and Venetian-like appearance, Udaipur is one of the most romantic towns in Rajasthan. A favourite amongst the wealthy and the elite, Udaipur is full of palaces and temples. Spend the afternoon at leisure enjoying our wonderful hotel facilities.

Day 12: Udaipur

Enjoy a sightseeing tour of Udaipur in the morning which includes the City Palace and museum, Jagdish Temple and Sahelion ki bari. This afternoon enjoy a shared boat ride on Lake Pichola.

Day 13: Udaipur

Today we spend the day exploring the incredible fort of Chittorgarh considered the most important and best preserved of all hill forts in India.

Day 14: Udaipur

Enjoy a day at leisure no car is at your disposal.

Day 15: Udaipur - Delhi

Transfer to the Airport in Udaipur for your flight to Delhi. Flight 9W 2628. departs at 0810 and arrives at 0950. Arrive Delhi, and our local team are on hand to transfer you to your hotel.

Day 16: Delhi

Sadly your journey has come to an end, we will transfer you to the airport in time for your flight home.
