Day 1: Delhi - Jodhpur
Namaste! Welcome to New Delhi, the capital city of India and the start of your eye-opening adventure! Our friendly team will be waiting in the arrivals hall to transfer you to the Almondz Hotel hotel where you can relax for the rest of the day. Later this evening we will transfer you to the station for the sleeper train to Jodhpur. (2461 - Mandore Express - 2115 / 0740)
Day 2: Jodhpur
Arrival this morning and we will take you to your hotel. Jodhpur, a town at the edge of the mighty Thar Desert. Dominated by Meherangarh Fort which sits majestically atop a hill, Jodhpur is known as the Blue City. This is because of the coloured houses in the old town, painted indigo. We’ll enjoy some touring in this colourful Rajasthani city, taking in the mighty fort and bazaars of the old city which are gathered around the city’s tall clock tower.
Day 3: Jodhpur - Ranthambhore NP
Morning transfere to the station for the express train to Sawai Modhpur (12466 - Intercity Express - 0610 / 1315) Arrival and we will transfer you to your hotel. This afternoon enjoy the first of your game drives to spot the illusive Bengal tiger in a shared Canter vehicle.
Day 4: Ranthambhore NP
Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in the national park. Ranthambore National Park is one of the prime examples of Project Tiger’s conservation efforts in Rajasthan. Interestingly the forests around the Ranthambore Fort were once the private hunting grounds of the Maharajas of Jaipur.
Day 5: Ranthambhore NP - Delhi
Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in the national park. After our final game drive we will depart from this wonderful park hopefully having seen some of the elusive tigers. We are back to the station for the train to Delhi (29019 - NKC KOTA EXP 2110 / 0550)
Day 6: Delhi
Arriving back into Delhi we will collect you and take you to the Almondz Hotel for day use room to freshen up before we drive you to the airport for your flight home.
