Welcome to the start of your voyage of discovery through 'Incredible India'! You will be met at Delhi International Airport by our friendly local team and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure to explore or relax as you like.
This morning, our Welcome Meeting takes place. Well then enjoy a morning sightseeing tour of Old Delhi, taking in the impressive Red Fort, Jama Masjid - India’s oldest and largest mosque. This afternoon we further enhance your exploration of this bustling city with an afternoon guided journey through the New Delhi area the highlights will include India gate a drive past parliamentary buildings and President's house, a guided visit to Humayun's tomb then concluding with sightseeing to UNESCO World Heritage Site Qutub minar.
Departing Delhi, we journey to Agra, once India’s Mughal capital. Here, we visit the impressive Agra Fort, which boasts some of India's finest Mughal buildings behind it's fortified walls. Later on we take a motorised buggy to the legendary Taj Mahal and witness a magical sunset. Built by Shah Jahan in the 16th century as an enduring memorial to his beloved wife Mumtaz. Built entirely of white marble, the Taj Mahal has no peers.
This morning we head to visit Fatehpur Sikri, former imperial capital of the great Mughal emperor Akbar. Built between 1569 and 1585, it has been deserted for more than four centuries, by all accounts abandoned in 1600 due to a meagre supply of water. After we drive to Bharatpur and after some time to freshen up we visit Keoladeo Ghana National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where we’ll enjoy a leisurely bicycle rickshaw ride through the park.
This morning you are driven to Bharatpur Rail Station for the Golden Temple Mail express train to Ranthambore. Train travel is a must do experience for any travelling to India, sit back and enjoy the journey. The train departs at 10:30 and arrives at 13:00. Here the local driver will transfer you to your lodge in the park. This afternoon enjoy the first game drive in the park.
For today enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in a shared canter, and hopefully spot a tiger or two.
After our final morning game drive we will depart from this wonderful park hopefully having seen some of the elusive tigers. We drive to Jaipur, along the way stopping to visit the small town of Tonk, which is one of the most interesting places in Rajasthan and is renowned for its old 'havelis' and mosques. Enjoy time to explore before driving onto your hotel in Jaipur arriving in the evening.
This morning you will have to look out for the snake charmers that dot our route, as we travel to the 16th century Amber Fort by elephant back. This afternoon enjoy journey of discovery through the historic pink city of Jaipur we start with a photo stop in front of Jal mahal (lake palace) thereafter visit the ancient astronomical observatory of Jantar mantar and then a guided tour of the city palace complex with it’s fascinating nooks and crannies. This evening why not head to the world famous Raj Mandir Heritage cinema to catch a bollywood flick with the locals.
Today you will fly to Trivandrum in South India (Via Mumbai) Arriving into Trivandrum airport we will transfer you to your beachside hotel in Kovalam Bay.
For your remaining days in India with us really relax. Stroll for miles along white palm fringed sandy beaches, try sampling the local seafood and sipping cocktails on your sunlounger the perfect remedy to unwind.
Sadly your voyage concludes with a transfer to Trivandrum airport in time for your flight home.
